"Great bed/mattress, breakfast was 1 day a la carte, and 1 day buffet. Breakfast was ok, but 20 dollars is overpriced for Sri Lanka standards. The airconditioning has 2 settings; OFF or freezing cold. The blankets are warm so it wasn't a big issue. The service was very chaotic. Offering coffee, and no action, and the billing system is a mess for example."

"Great apartments near the airport. New and comfortable. They have a kitchen and two air conditioners. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. We had a nice and comfortable rest before an early flight. The ride to the departure terminal took 10-15 minutes. The reality matched expectations."

"Location: Easy to find, navigation was accurate. Service: Family-run guesthouse. The owner is American and kindly moved our car to make room for us, worried we wouldn't be able to park. Facilities: Swimming pool, the kids played there for a while. Room: There was a drying rack! We washed several days' worth of clothes. Meals: This was our second-to-last night in Sri Lanka. We left early the next morning to return the car, so we didn't order breakfast. Two shortcomings: The blankets didn't have covers, leading to reasonable suspicion that they hadn't been changed. In short, my usually thick-skinned companion complained of intense itching, and even someone from northern China who can go two days without changing clothes insisted on changing out of their T-shirt after getting up. The kids, even in short sleeves, scratched themselves until they were red. I didn't feel itchy at all while wearing long sleeves and pants. The price of 400 was inflated."

"Really enjoyed staying here on the last evening before departing Sri Lanka. The hotel is only a 25-minute drive away from Colombo’s airport and right on Negombo beach. The reception staff was super lovely, they graciously upgraded me to a 6th floor suite room with beautiful ocean views. The suite was also huge with a standalone bath tub as well as its own balcony pool. The 7th floor gym also has great views. There are lots of restaurants and shops just steps away from the hotel all serving the freshest of seafood and Sri Lankan specialties. Would be happy to stay here again, it was the perfect goodbye from Sri Lankan hospitality."
