"Musangano is an all round beautiful place. We were a family of 10 and booked 2 lodges and had a lovely Christmas at Musangano. The staff was very friendly and patient, the food was always fresh and yummy and our lodges were always cleaned on time. The wifi speed was good, allowing us to stay in touch with family and friends when we were away. We carried our hiking shoes and enjoyed the hike trails in the mornings. The kids loved the swimming pool and trampoline on site. We will go back to Musangano again and won't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful gateway in the Eastern Highlands. Keep up the good work Musangano. From Nyakudya Family"

"We camped on the lawn in from of the main chalet. As some of us were elderly we were allowed to use the bathroom in that chalet, as the other ablution is a bit had to reach when you are 60+ and have a knee problem. A small ablution at campers level would really make a stunning, beautiful place just perfect! We had only 2 nights but enjoyed every moment bird watching and walking in the amazing woods. Would love to return one day! Very friendly caretaker and very well behaved dogs."

"Grøn Gardens BnB er det perfekte sted at være, når du besøger Mutare.Jeg blev der først i april, da min mand og jeg besøgte Mutare for en påskekonference. Tro mig ... De annoncerede tjenester og faciliteter er præcis det, du modtager, eller endnu mere.Min mand er svær at overbevise, når det drejer sig om gæstfrihedsspørgsmål, men han var imponeret. Vi havde en kirkekrydstogt fredag den 8. august, og min mands foretrukne booking var Green Gardens.Mange tak Michelle for den fremragende og varme gæstfrihed.Værelserne er rene ....varme og hyggelige.WiFi er fremragende. Glem ikke mundvandings morgenmad.Grøn haver vil altid være stedet for os."

"We stayed at Musangano Lodge 4 nights, together with a group of friends, for a total of 15 people. The Lodge is nestled in the beautiful nature of Zimbabwe, not far from Mutare. We stayed in the chalet for two, name Msasa. Very nice and comfortable, surrounded by a flourishing nature. During our stay we met Bright, a very kind, attentive and helpful person. We went on a 3-hour walk with him in the Lodge grounds. He guided our group along the trail, up to a mountain with a breath-taking view on the surrounding eastern highlands. I enthusiastically recommend it because of the high professionalism of everyone we met at Musangano Lodge. We had tasty dishes, accurately prepared and served. At least once in a lifetime everyone should go to Zimbabwe and enjoy a very pleasant stay at Musangano Lodge."

"We were not able to find Madrugada Magic under hotel listings on Trip Advisor— only in vacation rentals. But know that this property also has a full-board option, provided it is arranged in advance. Also know that there is a two-bedroom chalet with en-suite bath and full kitchen available that has an adjoining deck with spectacular views. The chalet is well designed, full of light, spotless and gleaming, and less than 10 yards up the hill from parking. The proprietors are nature lovers and keep two friendly and quiet German shepherds. It would be a sin to just spend one night here. A full day is needed to hike in or just appreciate the primeval bush of the Vumba Mountains. The pleasure of hiking here is that the climate is cool (especially on top of the ridge behind the property) and free of biting insects. The hardest part of the stay is getting there. You must follow the signage for Eden Lodge before the Madrugada signs start popping up. The last quarter mile is very steep. Most of the route is dirt road that can be hard for low-slung vehicles."
