"This is a clean well run park with good facilities and friendly staff. We stayed for 12 days during a fairly quiet time. Close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. Sites might be a bit tight when busy but the management are doing some ground works and improvements. Will stay again."

"Have stayed in most places around Isa since 2012 and have found Spinifex to be the nicest. Overall have stayed here 3 times now. Might be a bit too far a walk to the CBD for some and the car park is pretty narrow with shade cloth rather than a roof. Rooms are decent size, modern enough and there’s adequate amenities. Staff are friendly"

"Rooms were very well equipped and comfortable and all towels and bedding very clean. The room was spacious and the bathroom a good design. Not so keen on the split level in the room but that said it worked well. Also we were very grateful to the room attendant who alerted us that our car tyre was very low. We were able to get it fixed pronto at Bridgestone on the outskirts of The Isa."

"Disappointed with the room. There was a strong smell of mustiness or mould in the bedroom. The shower had black on the lower tile grout and needed a good scrub. The bedside lamps were more like ornaments as they were not attached to a power outlet and there were neither power points or usb outlets on the bed side of the room. The only shampoo or soap available was in the shower as the pump style container near the wash basin was empty. Between the smell and the lack of light near the bed our stay was not comfortable."

"On arrival I was advised the room I had been allocated (a Queen Deluxe) was unavailable due to a faulty door and I would instead be in a Queen single room with no window. I was staying 3 nights for work and advised I was not happy with this change. Within 20 minutes I got a call from reception saying the door was now fixed and my room was available to check in. As is the experience with other reviewers, despite booking Red Earth, I actually got a room over The Isa Hotel. The room rates are the same, but from what I can tell, the Isa rooms are much older and poorly maintained compared to the Red Earth rooms. If you're basing your booking on the photos, be aware that you might end up in a room that does not look like this. The room was pretty average - There was a large section of paint peeling from the ceiling, the windows were covered in grime, the carpet is visibly dirty, and... there were bed bugs. Just stay somewhere else."

"Vi blev to nætter, mens vi gik igennem for at se en dag af rodeoen.Vi havde et af de derefter stående steder, der var rent og hyggeligt.Det var en fornøjelse at have normalt varmt vand, som du kunne justere lige som hjemme. Efter et par uger i Nt var de fleste parkeringsfaciliteter som mobile enheder af lav kvalitet.Det var lidt koldt i august at bruge poolen.Rodeokoncerten var en nat med støjende kunder, der kom tilbage alle timer af natten som forventet.Ikke en dårlig park for os."

"No offer of a breakfast pak at check in. Shower “hot”water was tepid at best @ 19:00pm Ordered a steak & veg for diner, to dine in my room. Steak was very nice. Given bamboo cutlery to deal with the steak. Come on guys! If you are that worried about cutlery theft, you have my credit card details. Room needed a thorough cleaning. Black marks on the doona cover & potential skid marks on the wall next the loo paper. Not a good first impression. I won’t be back."

"Mount Isa is not a pretty town but the motel was very spacious and set on a main road overlooking the city. Due to a puncture we had to extend a one night stay to a four day stay. The owners were very accommodating and whilst not ideal we made the most of it. Mainly looking for a replacement tyre which out of three outlets not one was to be found and so had to limp to the next town where a new tyre awaited us. So thank you Townview. Like all the places to stay in central Australia parking and getting around was easy."
