"So as a halal traveller for my halal trips, perfect fish and chips without beer butter I’ve never eaten butter so light it’s amazing room was really clean beautiful views from the room of the Malcom Bay. This is a premium hotel clientele are mature however this was a amazing hotel stayed there good for business, really nice food breakfast was not very big but it was enough. Customer Service was average only because there wasn’t many staff, but when there was staff there they were very attentive. Amazing day would stay again."

"There is so much to like at this hotel. The recently refurbished rooms are bright, spotlessly clean and fresh with great facilities. The bed was really comfortable and big! I usually struggle to sleep when away from home but I didn’t have that problem here! Everything was just so comfortable. We had a sea-view which I would recommend as it is lovely looking out on the sweep of the bay. Binoculars are provided too which I thought was an inspired touch! The hotel is well-located, across the road from the promenade and a pleasant stroll to shops, restaurants and bars. We found free parking right outside the hotel. The proprietors were really friendly, polite and informative and gave us a warm welcome. There is no breakfast provided but we didn’t find that a problem as there are so many places to eat nearby. I would definitely return to The Kerswell and recommend to others."

"On arrival it was easy and painless to check in, friendly staff and we’ll sign posted, we were on the 2 floor and had 2 flights of stairs to walk up but this was what we expected anyway after reading reviews, our room was pleasant and clean and we had everything we needed including iron, ironing bored, tea coffee facilities and a charger port for phones, the bed was so comfortable and clean, our view was lovely and we could see the sea front when sitting in the bay window. We went out for some food and came back around 10pm and although we were shown how to open the door we couldn’t as we were doing it wrong, I rang the number provided to tell staff members and they were so helpful, they said they would be there in 5minutes to let us in, by the time I had got back up stairs my friend had managed to get in (we were doing it wrong) I felt so bad for calling staff members and I felt awful having wasted their time, they were polite and understanding. We checked out in the morning no problems at all and went to visit family in Morecambe later that day we came back for some lunch and we are so glad we did, the food was out of this world so tasty and reasonably priced, everything was homemade and piping hot we all had empty plates beautiful and the right amount. All in all we would defo stay again and most definitely eat there again!! We were lucky as we could get a table on the off chance, it was quick and we didn’t have to wait long at all."

"Just home from a lovely 3 day stay with Jo at the yacht bay view. What a cracking host!! Very friendly and full of helpful advice. The views over the bay were spectacular from our room, which was spacious and had a small fridge which was very handy. Jo cooks a cracking full English and a really nice manx kipper. Nothing is too much trouble. Bus stops nearby. Totally recommend!!!"

"Brilliant and lovely apartment we stayed in apartment 4 which had a brilliant open planned living space and kitchen area with brilliant view looking over the bay! All 3 rooms were big and spacious and perfect. 3 adults from Derby who worked on Alexandra Park installing the soft beach theme surfacing and tried to spend as much time in the apartment as it was too good"
