"Absolute no go and the worst accommodation we have ever had in South Africa. The condition of the huts is like in the state camps 10 years ago - it all works somehow, but is in unkempt and unfortunately also dingy condition (especially cups, bathroom and the floor). We left the dinner, for which we had to wait more than an hour, after a few bites - the kudu "filet" was almost completely raw instead of medium and we didn't want to get sick as a souvenir of this lodge. Huge trucks drive every second through the Copper Road, where the lodge is located, in addition the basses from the bar hammer; when we arrived around 15:30, the first guests camped drunk in the garden with more bags full of beer cans and the other audience is unfortunately also accordingly. The huge trucks drove until very late in the evening and from 5 am - 5-8 per minute, we could count - was a sleepless and hungry night. We had already suspected that the name of the road " Copper Road" could refer to a copper mine (which was confirmed to us later. The staff is unengaged and unfriendly."

"Right inside the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, you will find one of this modern - Nyaleti Lodge conveniently situated very close to Kruger National Park, some of the nearby attractions include the infamous Three Rondavels. My wife and I stayed for two nights. We were a bit late on arrival but Marlin was waiting for us by the reception area and directed us to our Villa. He led us on a short tour around the house and outside, we spotted some few animals in the dark. Breakfast was very nice, thanks to Ann for preparing this delicious morning meals for us. Outside shower and bath was a plus. Last day was a bit cold but we didn't feel it as we managed to have ourselves a nice hot bath in the bush, just under the sky. "We spent two nights at Safari Moon Lodge in Hoedspruit and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic, the staff are extremely friendly, and our room was beautiful. The food was outstanding and the pool was a real highlight — not only great for relaxing, but also offering amazing views with wild animals coming right up to the area. Overall, we were delighted with our stay. Everything was wonderful and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable experience."

Rukiya Safari Camp

"Rukiya is a small scale Safari Camp in the Wild Rivers Nature Reserve close to Kruger NP. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpfull, really trying to find an answer to all your questions and needs. I have a serious eating disorder what makes travelling complicated in full board schemes, but staff and kitchen did a tremendous job to provide adequate dishes for me. Because there was a small problem with the tent we were meant to stay, we got a free upgrade to the river house, a very comfortable and welcoming surprise. White Rivers itself isn't a big 5 reserve and therefore the sightings in this reserve can feel less rewarding. Morning game drives are done in the Balule Reserve, which is a beautiful Big 5 reserve. We saw rhino, elephant and buffalo, besides herds of antelope, zebra, hippo and so on, plus countless amazing birds."
