"My wife and I stayed here for one night while walking the Offa’s Dyke Path, the location being not far off the path. Ruth is a very welcoming host. The house is amazing, beautifully decorated, extremely homely, with nothing out of place. Our room was lovely, spacious and extremely comfortable with large bathroom including separate bath and shower and large fluffy towels. There is also a very comfortable lounge for guests to use. Ruth provided a lovely cooked breakfast. All in all a superb B&B. We are now thinking when we might pay another visit to Montgomery to stay here again. Highly recommended."

"I stayed in the twin room with my Son as a stop over on our way to Aberystwyth University open day. The room/whole house is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and very comfortable. I normally have trouble sleeping in ‘strange’ beds but the mattress, duvet and pillows were soft and very comfortable and I had no problem getting to sleep despite sharing a room with my son who snores sound like blocked drains. In the morning we opted for the Full Welsh breakfast which was perfectly cooked and was mostly sourced from the local area. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed and there was fresh coffee. It was delicious. The absolute best thing about the old stores BnB is the host Ruth, she is lovely and very hospitable and cooks a great breakfast. "
