"Casa Spa d’Alma was my base for a week, attending a retreat in the Algarve. A stunning location in the hills and beautiful accommodation to enjoy the luxury of peace and quiet. The cats, dogs and frogs in the natural pond all added to the ambience of this gem. We picked fruit for breakfasts and explored the hiking paths which surround the location, the perfect escape from reality. Clean comfortable, well equipped rooms and the warmest welcome, I can’t wait to return one day!"

"The first thing is that I was robbed in the room, so don't leave anything of value when they clean the rooms. The service is very average. You arrive and they make you cross the hotel and the street to check in, carrying your suitcases. To top it all off, even if you booked a suite, you have to walk up two and a half floors. When you leave the room, make sure you don't forget anything because if you have to go back, you'll regret it. We arrived at 3 p.m. after a long car journey, and there was no way to get anything to eat, not even a lousy sandwich. I felt like leaving right then. If I had known what awaited me after the room was cleaned, I would have left, because what they stole was worth far more than my entire reservation. In short, an experience I'll forget from start to finish. And the spa... I apologize for calling an indoor pool a spa... because that's all it is. If this is typical Portuguese service, they could have kept it for themselves."

"Booket en panorama- balkon suite - værelset var fantastisk alt du kunne bruge, x2 badeværelser, køkken, stueområde og stor seng og balkon med udsigt. Buffet morgenmad havde en bred vifte af valg og var til høj standard og godt opbevaret.Jeg spiste en snack om aftenen i mezzanine bar, det var okay, men ikke fantastisk. Kvaliteten af den røde vin og omhyggelig service i baren var meget god.Checkin og ud hurtigt og meget velorganiseret og smukt kommunikationspersonale. Mine personlige præferencer ville være, at der i aftener er en buffetoption, snarere end en forudreserveret restaurant eller pizza, da det er lidt begrænsende. Og mindre, men opmærksom på detaljer - et forslag om, at værelsesbeholdningen kun lokale/portugisiske produkter som vand, bør virkelig være fra Monchqiue ... og leverede toiletter følte lidt tilfældigt en blanding af engelsk og portugisisk - følte lidt som hvad der var Bare overladt i stedet for et samarbejde og kvalitet der. Overordnet fremragende ophold og vil helt sikkert være tilbage."

"I was looking not only for a place, but a space with personality, soul, and stillness for my Oasis retreat, and I got more than that here. The owners are warm, friendly, and discreet. The animals add to the soothing aura, and it's so nice that it's only for adults. Just far enough from the airport, beaches, and towns to feel it, but not so far that I began questioning my choices or that a ride felt like a project. We all slept like a baby, bonded over cooking in a charming outdoor kitchen, and indulged real tastes under the stars. Fruits and herbs are in abundance, and so are the walking paths. This is truly a golden gem to give your soul a spa."

"The hotel, although it has a beautiful exterior, with architecture that certainly leaves many people open-mouthed and an excellent location next to the famous Monchique waters with some very interesting fountains to visit nearby and a pleasant breakfast, is not at the level of a 4-star hotel. Firstly, the access cards did not work several times, even after they were supposedly fixed. Its restaurant “1692” had satisfactory food, a daily menu with few options, and while its prices are disproportionate to what is offered, for €25/person you can eat local food of better quality, with many more options and of greater proportions, five minutes or less by car from the hotel. Regarding the rooms, the cleaning of the rooms was terrible, only the bed was made, they didn't refill the shampoo bottles that were already empty, the towels weren't changed and in general it was barely noticeable that anyone had even been there to clean. And besides this, the rooms in the suites for some reason were of a much lower quality than the rooms in the central garden, I realized this because I booked 3 rooms, two in the garden and one suite (because of the pet), and this one revealed an old-fashioned interior, smell of tobacco and stains all over the room. Finally, the thermal spa was very nice and I recommend it."
