"Sky Garden Mini Hotel is a fantastic hotel and an exceptional value. The staff is friendly and helpful (especially DarShan and Cami), it is very close to the beach, the rooms are large and clean, the compound is tropical (There are even wild monkeys running around, but just be careful as they will steal food that you leave out and possibly valuables if they're feeling particularly cheeky.), and there are many restaurants/shops nearby. All-in-all, a fantastic stay!"

"We stayed as a couple from April 12th to 17th. The staff was very friendly, and the view from the window was stunning. There's a café downstairs that barely disturbed us, except for the occasional smells from the kitchen. The hotel's location was great: the walk to the main street is shaded by trees, where you might spot chipmunks, and you can stop at the restaurant for coffee under a tree. After Mirisa, we drove to Hikkaduwa and appreciated the peace and tranquility. The room wasn't very comfortable. There's no place to put suitcases, no closet, coat hooks are nailed above the nightstand with a kettle, and there's only one chair. Room cleaning is available upon request; we requested daily cleaning. Beach towels are also available upon request. The room includes two bottles of water, tea, and coffee."

"The room was absolutely spotless, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Assisted quite late in the evening with an urgent request. The bathroom facilities were great, especially the shower. Location was perfect for our very early start (5 minutes to the port for whale watching). Couldn't recommend highly enough, absolutely excellent!"

"First, let's talk about the location. It's undeniably excellent, within walking distance of the beach, and surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. However, the room was extremely small, to the point that we barely had room to unpack our luggage. This was a significant issue for us, but what angered us most was that the water heater in the room was broken. We asked the front desk to fix it, and they said it would take a while. We replied that we would come back later to have dinner first, and indeed, we scheduled a repair for 7:30 PM. However, because the restaurant service was so slow, we returned to the hotel late, around 8:00 PM. The hotel staff said the repairman arrived at 7:30 PM, but no one answered the door, so they couldn't fix it now and would have to come the next morning. Good heavens! It's one thing for the hotel to have basic facilities malfunctioning, but at least they should fix it! Isn't the hotel supposed to provide 24-hour service for any issues? This is a hotel right by the sea. We definitely needed to shower after swimming in the sea; we couldn't possibly sleep with seawater and sand on us! I was furious. They wouldn't change our room or fix anything, forcing us to take cold showers. The next day, I felt a bit of a cold. I'll never book a hotel with this kind of service again. I don't recommend it; be careful, they won't solve any problems! There are many other hotels nearby; you can choose from other options. The location is also very good."

"The owner is very kind and has a lot of hospitality. The room was clean and the shower had good water pressure. I had a very comfortable stay. I can say with confidence that this hotel is worth more than its price."

"Excellent location of the hotel, everything is nearby. The ocean is across the road in 70 meters, there are many shops and cafes around for every taste and budget. For professional surfers there is an opportunity to surf, for lovers of a quiet holiday snorkeling on the turtle beach (there are always turtles and fish too) and beaches equipped with sun loungers. The manager of the hotel Kumara is very sensitive, attentive and caring, will tell you everything about the city, where and how best to get there, will answer any of your questions and will always help. The room has everything you need: safe, air conditioning, fan, and most importantly a mosquito repellent that will make your stay comfortable, the bed linen is clean, the rooms are spacious. Right next to the hotel there is a bus stop, you can go to the nearest settlements. The hotel is located not far from the police, so safety is guaranteed. I liked everything)"

"Pros: - Central location - Lovely staff who are very friendly - Comfy beds & modern rooms - Good A/C - Nice breakfast (fruit/toast/freah juice) - Great cooking class! Cons: - Rooms need cleaning regularly (fresh towels/empty bins) every day - we stayed 3 nights and it did not get cleaned - The noise from the road and construction will keep you awake so bring earplugs! Overall a lovely stay for a few nights in Mirissa!"
