"Værelserne var ret store og rolige, sengen var meget komfortabel og aircondition kunne køle værelset til en behagelig temperatur. Da vi ikke fik selvchecking, kom straks en dame til receptionen for at hjælpe os. Hun var meget venlig og gav os også tips til restauranter i nærheden, da restauranten ved siden af hotellet allerede var lukket på grund af varmen."

"Stayed for 1 night with some friends whilst walking the pilgrims church walk. The breakfast at the lorna doone hotel was one of the best I have ever had. Quality ingredients cooked to a very high standard. It was excelent and kept us going for most of the day!"

"Selv om vi havde booket et King/Twin værelse måneder før, blev vi desværre oplyst, da vi ankom, at noget var gået galt med bookingsystemet, hvilket betød, at værelset ikke var tilgængeligt. Landsherren tilbød os et dobbelt og et tilstødende enkeltværelse i stedet, hvilket naturligvis ikke er en ønskelig mulighed for et gift par på en romantisk getaway. Vi valgte derfor at sove begge i det dobbelte værelse, selv om vi beklager vores beslutning næste morgen, da sengen tydeligvis var for smal til to mennesker til at sove i behageligt. Landsherren havde tilbudt at afhjælpe denne fejl med vores middag, selv om vi endede med at blive behandlet med to glas spirende vin, som virkede lidt for lille en gestus for vores ubehag. På den lyse side, personalet meget generelt venligt og vi kunne lide morgenmad.Men efter at have set den høje vurdering af dette Inn er ved at blive, følte det sig lidt af en nedladning, at være ærlig. Google opregner etableringen som et 4-star hotel, som ikke synes helt hensigtsmæssigt.F.eks. var der meget mangler vand i rummet.Dekorationen virkede også ret dateret."

"The Crown Hotel is exceptional. Staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you, the room was immaculate with everything you need, a very comfortable bed, tea, making facilities and a lovely hot shower. We stayed on a winters day and it was great to return to the hotel that was so warm and cosy with the fires all lit. The breakfast was delicious. we had dinner in the hotel which was exceptional with a good choice on the menu. I would highly recommend the Crown Hotel and will definitely be returning."

"We had a fantastic family meal for 6 of us on a very busy Saturday night. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding and the pub was busy and full which was great.. such a lovely atmosphere. We had mains and desserts and lovely wine.. Will definitely visit to eat again"
