"The reception was fairly average. The room wasn't fully finished and had some architectural inconsistencies. Beach access through the hotel was closed during both of our stays (before and after our trip to Santa Antão Island). The staff were friendly and helpful but not yet fully settled in. The room had a sink in the bedroom; strange and not very pleasant (so much for privacy)."

"Booking blev bekræftet af hotellet, og da vi ankom midt om eftermiddagen den 3 marts, manageren havde lejet vores værelse live uden at advare os! Han gjorde ingenting, ikke s undskyldte ikke at sige, at han havde for meget af no show af turister via Booking! 10 minutter efter vores ankomst, en anden familie kom og s hørte sige, at de ikke havde et værelse heller!!! Heldigvis har vi været igennem et lokalt kontor, der har fundet os et værelse i Froy Brancas. I karnevalperioden er alt fuldt .... hotel at flygte!"

"We spent 2400€ for an 8 days stay in this hotel, for 3 people. It's a lot of money and it was supposed to be the highlight of our trip to Cabo Verde. The main reason why we chose this apartment was the view and the private swimming pool. The view is beautiful, but the swimming pool was unusable most of the time : very dirty, with yellow stains on the walls and more and more cloudy. In a word, disgusting. The problem is we asked for the cleaning of the pool or repair of the filtering system like every day. And each day it was supposed to be solved, a person was supposed to get there and solve the problem. And each time nobody showed up. The problem was solved only the day before we left ! We asked for a refund, but the only offer we got was not to pay the laundry, which was a neglectible refund in comparison with what we paid for this hotel. We asked to complain to the owner, but the owner was unreachable, in another country, ill, etc. The management took my email and said that they would get in touch with us after we left, which of course never happened. I could mention also other problems, less serious but that still show that this hotel is overpriced : one day the water pressure was so low it was impossible to shower. It took more than one day to solve the problem ! So my advice is : do not choose this hotel. It's the price of a luxury hotel, but certainly not the service of a luxury hotel."

"Exceptional welcome in this charming hotel. The staff is available and ready to answer all our requests (thank you for the daily taxi reservations) The place is quiet and has a breathtaking view of Mindelo. We enjoyed the many sunsets. The rooms are simple but clean and functional. The air conditioning and Wifi work perfectly. The breakfast is simple but plentiful. Thank you for this good stay."

"We had an apartment overlooking the pool & seafront, fantastic views! Very comfortable furnishings with everything we needed. Elise, the agent, was fantastic, spoke excellent english, so helpful with organising taxis & telling us information. She also organised a taxi guide when we visited Sao Antao, which is a must! Absolutely beautiful. The pool & the area around it was very clean & lovely & peaceful, sometimes just us. We would definitely go back."

"Simpelt men godt hotel. Ikke meget luksus, men for pengene får du hvad du har brug for, soveværelse med senge, Electro og WiFi. Badeværelse med vaskemaskine, bruser og toilet. Der er en portør hele natten, så du kan gå hele natten. Frugt er fint, og folk er venlige og hjælpsomme."
