Gozaisho is a famous spot for viewing autumn leaves, so traffic jams were expected, but the guests at Saikoyo were able to cross the Kamoshika Bridge, which was a blessing as they didn't get caught in traffic. As a sauna lover, I liked that it felt a bit like an outdoor sauna. Room: It was a tatami room, but there were two beds. There was also a large wall-mounted TV, so I was able to relax. One last thing. There were a lot of young employees, and I liked how they all seemed to be very hospitable. I was surprised because I had the image of hot springs being filled with old waitresses. When I spoke to a senior employee, he said that he often takes their opinions into consideration. The menu with our names on it had hand-drawn illustrations of the food and other elements that made a good impression. It had a quality that you don't get at formal, long-established inns. It's very close to the Gozaisho ropeway, so I highly recommend it."
