"We cannot speak highly enough about this lovely place. These hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. We arrived by train to Naples only to find that the small train we needed to carry on to Meta was shut down due to a strike. The hosts kept in touch with us and walked us through the process of getting a ferry to Sorrento and then arranged a shuttle for us to their place. They answered any questions we had immediately and helped us with detailed directions to anything we needed. They are conveniently located to the bus and train station to go into Sorrento but Meta itself has a beautiful beach and a cute little town. They have a lovely patio that you can sit out on and enjoy a drink or a take out pizza. Most importantly the owners are supper nice and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area."

"This boutique hotel is superb! Tucked away in Meta de Sorrento offering outstanding service. Our room with infinity spa offered ocean views and room service allowed for maximising our time enjoying the sunsets. Luigi, Roberta and the team were attentive without being intrusive and went over and above to meet our needs. The Wellness Centre was an unexpected luxury and was the perfect way to unwind after visits to Pompeii, Amalfi and Capri. "

"Booked via Airbnb, the location and the building were brilliant. Such a grand building and such a beautiful beach area and a lovely restaurant or two nearby. However…. The apartment was dated, and lacked enough basics (plates, cups, glasses etc) to make breakfast enjoyable (thank goodness we only stayed one night) The previous occupants had poorly washed the few plates and glasses that were draining above the sink too. Finally, one bedroom is off another. Ok if you there with your kids but not when you’re there with another couple and they have to go through your bedroom to get to the toilet. The shower was very old and unpleasant. The listing says two bathrooms and there was only one."

"Stay Away – Unacceptable Conditions and False Promises This hotel was a complete disappointment. Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception – and this continued throughout the entire stay. The hotel feels almost unstaffed, and at night, check-out is simply impossible because there is literally no one on-site. Our room also had a severe ant infestation – they were in the bed, on the floor, and even on our personal belongings. Hygiene? Nowhere to be found. The location details are misleading: the beach is much farther away than advertised on booking platforms. If you expect “beachfront” convenience, you’ll be disappointed. Neither the hotel nor the tour operator responded constructively to complaints – no solution, no refund, no apology. Bottom line: Dirty, poorly organized, unreliable, and full of false promises. Absolutely unsuitable for a relaxing vacation."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true haven of peace in Meta! We had a wonderful stay at La Quercia Retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and helpfulness. The place is charming, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay. The large garden, dominated by a magnificent centuries-old oak tree, is a real bonus: an ideal place to relax after a day spent exploring the coast. The location is also excellent: the beach is within walking distance, and Meta is a great base for visiting Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast. But what truly makes the difference is the warm and attentive welcome from the owners, who are always available to offer helpful advice and make our stay even more enjoyable. An authentic and peaceful place that we recommend without hesitation. We would gladly return! 🌿🇮🇹"
