"We had a really relaxing time here. Staff are warm and friendly, breakfast is excellent with lots of choice, constantly replenished. The pool area is a nice chill-out zone. Rooms are a good size with super en-suite shower room. Location is peaceful while being just a few minutes walk from the harbour and the magnificent old town of Ciutadella. Would return in a heartbeat. Totally recommend."

"What a great little place I was so impressed from the moment I entered the door, we were given a code to enter the door and get our room key which was all very simple and organised. The room was above and beyond my expectations with a fantastic bathroom and rain shower. There is a kitchen area upstairs where you can make yourself something to eat and a lovely roof terrace with great views over the rooftops down to the harbour and only a few minutes walk down to gorgeous Cala fonts. Last but not least I need to mention the owner Jody she was such a great help with everything and even organised a taxi to take us back to the airport. Thank you for such a great few days we will definitely be back. "

"We’ve just completed our stay at the Galdana Gardens and we have enjoyed every minute of our first trip here. We had a seamless check-in and then we were given Apartment 43 which gave us magical views across the sea and small harbour. Cala Galdana is a tourist resort, in fact we were informed that only 40 people reside here. There were a mixed bag of visitors to the resort including Spanish, French, English, etc we even met a lady from LA. The apartments were lovely and clean as was the pool area and the facilities at the back where there are additional toilets, showers and a laundry room. There is a lovely supermarket within metres of the complex, their pastries and freshly baked bread are fabulous. Would definitely stay here again, there are a few beaches to visit which are in walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️"

"We had a stay between the 20th and 25th September (5 nights) with the All Inclusive option. On the 2nd night there was moderate rain with thunder, and a reasonable amount of water appeared inside the apartment (kitchen area) which flooded part of the kitchen and living room (right above the electrical panel). We tried calling reception several times and no one answered, so we had to go to reception in person, in the rain. At reception, they said that they were unable to resolve the problem, they had no free rooms and that we were not the only ones in the same situation. They gave us some towels to contain the flood, ourselves. After our complaint, this matter was never addressed by them again and there were no justification. We were never able to access a pool towel, and on the first day we were told that they could have them the next morning but that there were very few, this is not acceptable for a 4star hotel. The All Inclusive concept in this hotel is more realistic as Full Board + Drink. There is only 1 employee for bar service + table service + cleaning the area itself. The All Inclusive information they gave us on the reception was different from what is displayed in the bar and what is currently practiced. On the last day, a bar employee (the first time we were served by her) tells us that we can order any meal to take away, if we are not staying at the hotel (information that was never given to us at reception, even though we had asked which includes All Inclusive). For us, not a 4 * hotel."

"Pros Adults only, generally quiet Friendly, helpful staff Comfortable accommodation with everything we needed Excellent food in their bar/restaurant Lovely big pool Well kept, clean Location ideal for guaranteed seat on bus to Ciutadella Cons 20min walk to marina and Cala an Bosch beach which does not have loungers/sun umbrellas to hire Commercial area nearby has a couple of supermarkets but is generally very rundown Adult capacity of Menorca Mar is about 140 but only enough sunbeds for half of that, so reserving was starting at 6am! Very UK tourist orientated....."

"Just returned after two wonderful weeks at this beautiful hotel. All the staff are are a real credit to the place, from the morning waitresses, evening waiters and reception staff. We stayed in a property in the glorious gardens, very clean and good bathroom. The place was serviced daily, Drinking water was provided by an artic dispenser, for you to use as needed. Air con was a real bonus as we had temps of 34 degrees most days. Can honesty say this was the best holiday we have had , don’t book if you like plastic five star places, this is more of a restful retreat place, Adults only, pure perfect peace, enjoy."
