The bedding was comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet, although the bed was a bit small. At night, I could hear frogs croaking and roosters crowing in the distance. There was a reading lamp by the bed. The river-view room had a small terrace with a pleasant view of the Nanla River. I mainly came here for the surrounding environment. There's a good Dai-style restaurant called Mikanhong in Manlongle Village nearby, which I always eat at, but it's the only one I visit. It's not very commercialized, so it's suitable for people who prefer peace and quiet. There are several villages within about ten kilometers that you can drive to explore. On weekends, you can go to local markets and eat delicious food. Showering was inconvenient; the water wasn't very hot during the day, so I could only shower at night, but it was fine by the next morning. The breakfast was average, but filling. The trash cans were small, not big enough for a resort hotel. Overall, it's a budget hotel."

"I usually don't write reviews, but this time I really have to, because a few things truly crossed the line for me, and I hope the hotel can improve its management! 1. Our three families' kids went to the swimming pool together after lunch. They'd been swimming for quite a while (ten or twenty minutes, maybe), and there wasn't a single lifeguard in sight. Since I was the only adult in the water, it was impossible to look after so many children simultaneously, and the pool was quite large. If something happened, I wouldn't have time to swim over and rescue them, and I'm not a professional anyway, so I was really panicking. I decided to ask a friend on the shore to get a staff member to find a lifeguard, but the response was a casual "Just a moment, they've gone to eat." Can something like this wait? Can it be taken so lightly? For such an important position, it's understandable for lifeguards to eat, but shouldn't there be a rotating shift? The hotel clearly states its operating hours, yet acts so irresponsibly. It completely crossed my line; I was furious on the spot. After a stern discussion, a lifeguard finally appeared about five minutes later. For a hotel that calls itself "luxury," with prices starting in the four digits and branded as family-friendly, to be so careless with safety is simply unbelievable! 2. The partnered photography service is suspected of price gouging. The hotel offers five free photos per room. This photography service actually has little to do with the hotel; it's just a partner using the hotel's premises. Since it's a partner, first, the hotel should guide this photography company to ensure compliance. But the fact is, there's no clear pricing displayed anywhere in the shop. They only provide a private message with a price list (80 yuan per photo, 150 yuan for a retouched one – roughly these prices, as only one friend received the price list) after a guest inquires. This means they snap a hundred photos for your family, and it could cost 10,000 yuan. Of course, this is under the premise of voluntary purchase. But this is essentially price gouging. The hotel uses its resources to attract consumers for a free experience, then uses opaque pricing to charge high fees after the photo shoot is completed. This is a typical case of luring with low prices and settling with high prices, which is clearly regulated by relevant laws and regulations. I discussed it with the photography team on the spot and only received an apology, promising to rectify it. The hotel's attitude was relatively good, at least they responded immediately and provided what support they could, which is commendable. However, I have to say again, it's quite amazing for something like this to happen at such a big hotel. Honestly, if this photography service wasn't relying on the hotel's reputation, could those few young men selling a few quick snaps really charge 100 yuan per photo? Despite my complaints, the hotel still has many commendable aspects. I won't praise them individually; just look at the pictures to get a feel for them!"
