"Fantastic choice! If you’re looking for a cool and calm atmosphere, this hotel is beautifully located and perfect for first time travelers. Although it’s a bit far from the main town, Maspalomas has its own charm, with many fun spots within walking distance. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel in a great location, oh wow! The rooftop bar with the scenic views… I highly recommend hotel faro for tourists and first time visitors. Keep it up!"

"The hotel is stunning and quite impressive, a really large property with multiple restaurants. It's great for families with kids and perfect for a relaxing getaway. There's a shortcut from the hotel to the beach, but I only noticed it when I was checking out. Parking is in an underground garage for 12 Euros a day, which isn't very convenient as there's no street parking available. The service wasn't great; the staff seemed pretty cool and not very welcoming. I asked for help a few times, but they didn't seem to genuinely assist, just calmly explained the rules. Breakfast was delicious, and they even had roasted suckling pig!"

"Our couple stayed at a RIU hotel chain property for the first time. This is an amazing hotel. At check-in we were treated to champagne and given a room even before the official check-in time. We really liked the comfortable balcony, the spacious room, and the huge shower area. The restaurant served incredibly tasty food, we especially enjoyed the choice of jamón. The polite service from the waiters, the incredibly delicious food — we had a wonderful time, relaxed, and want to come back here again and again."

"A fabulous place to stay! Perfect location on the beach, easy walking distance to restaurants and 25 mins from airport. We had a swimming pool room and it was perfect - comfy king bed and sunbed over the swim up pool. Breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious and overlooked the beach. The best thing was the welcome and service from Malin, Graziela and Rita. Personal, professional and friendly. We plan to return!"

"My wife and I have been staying in Riu Palace Meloneras 5 times now, and at this point it really just feels like our "home" in Gran Canaria. You have everything which you need in order to completely relax and rest: great weather, great service, great rooms, great food, spa and massage service, etc. As you may expect in a resort hotel, the pool area can feel a bit overcrowded, as everyone wants all the good tanning spots, but hey, that's the name of the game. It can also feel slightly overcrowded at dinner time, as everyone wants to eat at the same time, so some queues at the buffets, whether this is in the morning or in the evening, can be a bit long, but nothing crazy. All in all, we just love staying at Riu Palace Meloneras, and if we could afford it, we would go there every year for vacation: it is just so great "
