Welcome to our beautiful oasis on School Section Lake! The cottage is just steps away from the lake, and often when you look out the sliding doors or windows it sometimes seems as though you are actually floating on the water. There is a dock, so feel free to bring your own boat for your stay. The fishing is great, so don’t miss out on that! The cottage also has a shallow swim area, fire pit, propane grill, and a back deck that was made for relaxing. There is plenty of room for yard games as well, and enough seating for you and your family to enjoy their stay.
As for the cottage itself, it is fully furnished and includes three bedrooms, one full bathroom, and a half bath that doubles as a laundry room. You will have access to a stove, refrigerator, microwave, Wi-Fi internet, flat-screen television, board games, ladder toss, playing cards, coffee maker, toaster, dish soap, dish towels, cleaning supplies, a start-up supply of toilet paper and paper towels, furniture, pots, dishes, silverware, brooms, blankets, quilts, sheets, bath towels, bedspreads and pillows. You can sleep on the recliners or throw an air mattress in the main living room to easily sleep eight people. There is also plenty of parking space for up to five vehicles.
The rental also comes with two guest passes for you to enjoy the amenities at Canadian Lakes, which is just around the corner! You can enjoy world-class golfing, access to pools and a fitness area, tennis/pickleball courts, and outdoor recreation at your fingertips.

The main level entrance contains a family room with fantastic river views. There is also a full kitchen, dining area, utility room with washer/dryer, full bath and bedroom on this main level. Relax outside on the huge deck and feel like you are right over the river! Go upstairs for an additional bedroom, full bath and an a large 20x24 living area with scenic river views. Bring your fishing pole and cast a line! Feel free to bring your own boat and attach to the 30' seawall; this river opens up into a large all-sports lake right before Roger's Dam. The log homes sits on 10 1/2 acres half wooded, half land with a 1 acre pond in the front yard large front yard and backyard.
The four main bedrooms (1-4) have sliding glass doors that enter out onto the patio front and back.
The front patio is covered with several seating areas. The back patio is uncovered, has seating area, and wood fire pit.
In the backyard in the far back right, there’s a bonfire pit for your enjoyment.
There’s a kayak that can be use in the pond and several yard games as well upon request.
There’s five raised garden beds in the front and if there’s veggies ready, you’re more than welcome to enjoy them.

Hotel i Big Rapids Township
This cabin is the old boy's dorm of the Central Michigan Evangelistic Association Campground. It has been remodeled for families to come and enjoy the large piece of property along the Muskegon River and the White Pine Trail. It has a full kitchen, bathroom, shower, and 3 bedrooms that sleep 6 people comfortably. The bedrooms do have sliding doors that are a bit loud at night. It could use a good paint job but with me allowing dogs it's hard to keep up. This is nowhere near perfect condition, but it is super cute. If you would like to use our kayaks or bikes just let me know prior to your stay so I can make sure they are available to you. I can take you upstream and you can float down to the campground. The price would be $25 each. I have 5 kayaks. Camping is $30 a night with water and electric hookup. There is lots of wildlife mainly turkeys and deer. I am confident you will enjoy your stay when you come. There is also another cabin that is available called Cabin 2. It is on VRBO also.
