"Friendly efficient reception. Clean comfortable accommodation and beautiful views from the restaurant patio, where we had drinks. Dinner was delicious and expertly served by Yolanda. We were served a packed breakfast for our early journey onwards. A great stay for visiting the magnificent Matopos!"

"We went for the weekend 16-18th of February 2024 as a family and all I can say is WOW!! From the day we arrived till the day we checked out, the staff were exceptionally friendly. McLan and Valentine were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the meals were good, the scenery was just out of this world. I’ll definitely be going back in the near future."

"We had an incredible stay here. Our only regret is that we could not be here longer. Billy knew that I had a special interest in rock art, and he was able to give us room 8, which has its own pictograph in the room. The rooms are built into the natural rocks, so every place in the lodge was beautiful. Our guide Edward went beyond the call of duty to make sure we could see a lot in a short period of time. During the first evening he took us to watch an incredible sunset from a rocky hill, and took us to see a granary that had been used during an uprising against colonialism in the 1890s. Both the rock art and the rocks he showed us in the park were incredible, worthy of its world heritage status. There were white rhinos — but I also should mention the zonkey at the lodge. I appreciate that the lodge works with the community through a nonprofit. If you stay here you should expect ti walk up and down steps, but the exercise is great after all the fine meals. The staff were all very attentive and made sure the stay was memorable. ."

"Fantastisk, undtagen at ledelsen tillader overlandere at campere på campingpladsen den frie løb af logiområdet.De monopoliserer poolen, taler på taletelefon, video chat som om i en hotellobby i stedet for et safari-lejr. Antages at politikken om, at de kun må bruge boligen, når der ikke er nogen gæster, men dette blev ikke håndhævet, selv efter vi klager mange gange.Endelig blev de bedt om at forlade, men kun efter 24-timers "besættelse". Ejeren skal beslutte, hvilken slags plads de kører."

"Although taking bookings the lodge had a closed feel about it, and an air of dilapidation. Pool was shut then when told it was working it was filthy and had not been filtered. Set menu for dinner for 20dollars USD, half of which was unavailable and when arrived was very poor, as was breakfast. "

We were here for just one night on our travels, I wish we could have stayed longer to do more exploring. Very clean, no AC so summer night did get a little warm but the views are unbeatable!"

Ekstraordinær service overalt, men et særligt skrig til vores guide, Sandile.Hans ekspertise i traditionel plantemedicin og ceremonier gjorde vores spil køre så meget mere end blot en tur.Det var dybt berigeligt.
