"The breakfast is spectacular. Asian and continental food with a wide variety. I highly recommend it. The Chinese restaurant is also very good and doesn't take long to serve. I don't understand how a gym has pool and snooker tables in the middle... it doesn't make any sense. The hotel has two outdoor pools but does not have any type of bar or sun loungers to sunbathe by the pool. Furthermore, despite being a 5-star hotel, they do not provide towels for the pool, we had to say that we wanted more bath towels for the bathroom! One piece of advice is that you could also have background music."

"The Hotel Tivoli Maputo is in a great location for sightseeing. It's an easy walk to the Botanical Gardens, Train Station, Fort and Independence Square. The rooms are a good size with a great desk area and a large closet and a safe. The carpet is a little dirty but the majority of the flooring in the room is wood. The rooms are very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff is pleasant. It's a little unnerving that the hall lights turn off and I had to leave my room in the dark to get to the elevator. My room included breakfast and dinner. Dinner was very SLOW. I+ hours to eat dinner."

"​I will absolutely never be back to Town Lodge Maputo. ​If you value sleep or peace of mind, avoid this hotel at all costs. There is a neighborhood directly behind the property that plays incredibly loud music. The most frustrating part is that the management and staff are fully aware of this issue. Instead of being proactive or honest, they deliberately place guests in these noisy rooms, seemingly hoping you just won’t complain or notice. ​Because they chose to roll the dice with my stay, I was forced to pack up all of my belongings and change rooms twice just to get away from the deafening noise. It completely ruined the comfort of my trip. ​The blatant lack of consideration for paying guests is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else in Maputo where guest comfort actually matters."

"This place is a real gem. It is so clean, modern and spacious and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The location is also so central and convenient with a supermarket on the same block and cafes within walking distance. But the real highlight for me was how incredible the staff treated us. No matter what the issue was, they were ready to help solve it for us. The manager, Yuri, went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of and happy with our stay. I cannot recommend Oryx enough. I will definitely return to this beautiful hotel whenever I am next in Maputo!"

"I spent three nights at Meliá Maputo Sky in room 11004, and I absolutely loved my stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Even though most of them spoke Portuguese and I speak English, they always made an effort to assist me with a smile, which I really appreciated. The daily breakfast was excellent, with a nice variety of selections that changed each day. It was a great way to start my mornings. The location is perfect—right in the CBD and within walking distance of several good restaurants and city attractions. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend Meliá Maputo Sky to anyone visiting Maputo. I would definitely stay here again!"

Hotellet og restaurantens ledere var på toppen af deres spil, mens Yara, Felix, Maria på receptionen var effektive og professionelle.Check ind var en brise.Der var en pool, der var meget indbydende, men jeg kunne ikke bruge på grund af min tidsplan. "Everything was fine until the final check-out. Due to carelessness, I accidentally booked the wrong dates—a room for a week from now. I contacted the hotel staff offline to inquire about a refund, and they all smiled and told me to contact an agent; there might be a chance to get a refund. However, all communication was ineffective. Ctrip helped me communicate with them countless times, but they just wouldn't give a refund, even half. I'm willing to pay half the price for my mistake. These shady guys are just too greedy for money."

"This is the blandest hotel I have ever stayed in. Could be anywhere in the world, or nowhere. Location is just a little too far out. Plenty of hotels in town - two o tried to book in same price range were full. This place is empty. At breakfast and dinner there is just one waiter. So if a problem emerges that he has to deal with - as happened just now - you may be the only person in the restaurant but you will have to wait an age for him.to sort put some other customers bill from earlier in the day. Seems to be a choice by the hotel to keep staff at a minimum- there is a vending machine for snacks. Saving on printing too. The room has no information about the hotel. That is found in the cloud, accessed through a QR code. The cloud gives me a link to hit if I want to contact reception. That opens WhatsApp, which didn't work.So I go downstairs to inquire about laundry.... The problem here seems to be a South African chain looking to shred all costs and extract as much as possible. The few staff employed here are excellent - efficient, friendly, and helpful. If you want more of that, check the Mozambican guest houses in town"
