"Very atmospheric. This wasn't our first stay, and everything was excellent. The location is superb, right in the center. The room is comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel terrace is stunning. The staff is always helpful, especially with parking. The hotel is in a ZTL zone, so you have to drive around a lot to find somewhere to park and then to the parking lot. It would be nice if the hotel sent customers a suitable route with street names in advance so they don't run into roadblocks using their GPS. But this inconvenience is completely compensated by the hotel's location. We will book again."

"Clean and spacious rooms. Great ending to our two week trip. We stayed in 5 different hotels/B&B’s and this was by far the best! Don’t let the street approach give you a bad first impression, nothing beautiful or eye catching about the outside of the building (except the large modern door!). Not sure about parking as we arrived by Taxi but the staff is friendly and helpful so I would contact them for suggestions. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Italy or Switzerland. Large variety and attentive staff. Excellent experience."

"Let's start with the qualities: friendly staff, strategic location, and cleanliness. Then, the downsides: the B&B is located in a small courtyard, crowded with cars and bicycles, and the walls dividing the rooms are just a few centimeters thick, making any sound a nuisance. Finally, it may sound strange, but breakfast is an extra. We're talking a few euros, so it's fine (there's an excellent pastry shop nearby, by the way!), but I've never seen a B&B without breakfast."

"I absolutely loved my three night stay at Hotel Broletto. The room was fabulous – spacious, well equipped, clean and stylish. There was a Lavazza Espresso machine in the room for that early morning coffee, luxury hygiene products in the bathroom, a fully stocked complimentary mini bar, and a comfortable bed. The en-suite has everything you need. Everything was in good condition and fresh. There is a lift too – never to be underestimated. The hotel breakfast is a typical Italian fare but really well done. A variety of fresh cornettos, pastries and cakes every day, fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, and a cappuccino machine. Winning! They have a convivio station set up in the breakfast room during the day and evening for anyone who would like a hot drink or snack. The standout though would have to be the hotel staff, Nicole, Anita, Deborah and in particular – Diletta, who went out of her way to ensure my stay was everything I wanted and perhaps didn’t know I needed. She was absolutely brilliant, cheerful, helpful, lots of great tips and suggestions which made my stay a breeze. Communication was excellent before, during and even after leaving. The location is central to everything you want to do and see. This hotel is a 10/10 in every way. I am very glad I chose to visit Mantova/Mantua and that I chose Hotel Broletto."

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location is very convenient as it is literally right across the street from the Mantua train station."

"Vi har opholdt os en nat ved denne lejlighed. Værelse 186, mansard. Ved ankomsten blev vi velkommen af en stærk lugte af vand fra badeværelset, forbedret ved at få ventilen til at gå. Vandtab frataget. Rengøring, diskrete service. Den værste overraskelse var, at når du kommer tilbage til værelset sent om aftenen, at du er i hele natten med en stærk støj/brunch kommer, sandsynligvis fra kablerne over sengens hoved (højt dækket af en dækning dermed ikke synlig). Det var et mareridt, fordi vi endda slukkede køleskabet, fordi det også var en kæledyrs støj... men vi har ikke løst problemet. ... vi rapporterede det i morgen ved receptionen. Reaktionen på signalet var på begrænset af ligegyldighed. Massiv udenrigsturisme er sandsynligvis over os... den italienske turist, der er klar over de alternativer, som landet tilbyder, finder bedre. Men det er derfor, vi skal ærligt sætte pris på faciliteterne... for ferie er udtryk for de penge, som hver rejsende har brugt godt. Hvis vi så vil tale om selve bygningen, elevatoren, der er en lastbil, og hvis du kommer ind, så skal du bede, at den tredje sving ikke stopper. De trappesteder, der er indlagt med klæbebånd, som spørger dig om han vil holde din passage (med værftets skrifter stadig synlige). Sådan er det, hvis de forbedres, ville gøre denne struktur til en køn i det historiske centrum af Mantova."

"The room and its attached ensuite was excellent - the bathroom in particular was modern and clean, however the walls were so thin I was treated to the full operatic performance by the Italian couple next door, including sobbing, screaming and the subsequent reconciliation. As I think other reviews mentioned, the hotel is in the same ownership as the ABC along the road, so breakfast is taken there. A good location, close to the railway but not noisy as the rooms are behind the street location."

"Close to everything, This 4 room pension will give you everything you can expect. The lady guest at reception is helpful. No breakfast but a light collation is always available with coffee tea and croissants and biscuits. The place is really quiet and the view on the lake is breathtaking. All in all Mentova is worth spending a couple of days to visit"
