"For the record, I did not stay at the property. I was booked to stay for a tour of the castles. However, I was made redundant 1 month before the trip. I contacted the property asking to cancel the booking and a refund if they managed to rebook the rooms (as I booked on a no cancellation booking). They replied to say they would not, and would I no longer be attending? I appreciate it was not their fault, but if they could have rebooked the rooms, and not been out of pocket, was it too much to ask for a refund, with 1 months notice? Times are hard enough without people profiteering out of other’s misfortune."

"The single room was very spacious and the furnishings were adequate. In some places (carpet, bathroom), it was clear that the last modernization/renovation was some time ago. Overall, though, everything was perfectly fine. Breakfast was okay for €15. The only thing I really can't stand is when the coffee is only lukewarm, but that's a matter of taste."

"The location is not ideal, it is quite far, it takes 25 minutes to walk from the shopping center, and a taxi to the train station costs 11 euros. It is also far away from the water tower, which is very close to the shopping mall. The environmental sanitation is very good and the hotel is relatively new overall! Breakfast is also good, very rich, with hot food, fruits are the best!"
