"Meet and greet and booking were smooth and easy and on-site parking was a definite plus. The room was adequate, if a little dated. Wallpaper was peeling and there was an overwhelming, bad smell throughout the hotel, which worsened if you used the air conditioning. Not great in those kind of temperatures. "

"The location is inconvenient; the sea is far away, and the hotel is located somewhere on a hill. The rooms are dated, and breakfast and dinner offer a variety of dishes, most of which are edible. The pool opens at 10:00 AM (like everywhere in Spain), and within 40 minutes, a line starts forming at the gate for sun loungers. The pool is terrible. They charge a deposit for no apparent reason, and there's no minibar or anything valuable in the room. In short, the experience wasn't particularly pleasant. I wouldn't recommend it. The price is way too high for what it is. We booked it because we needed to book for one night."

"Having stayed in Manilva last year, my wife and I decided on a return trip this year. I found the Manilva Sun apartments on a UK website, but then discovered I could book directly online at a discount. Needing twin beds, I was advised to choose a two bedroom apartment. I asked for one on a higher floor and looking out towards the mountains and sea. That is exactly what we got and we never tired of looking at the views. We were so content with our spacious apartment that we hardly bothered to explore the rest of the facilities. It was hot outside but the apartment was cool without us needing to turn on the air conditioning. The staff we met were both friendly and helpful, especially when we were first trying to find our way around. The location is quiet and we had several early morning exploratory walks along the tracks beyond the apartments. We would be more than happy to go back to Manilva Sun again, particularly since we discovered, on the road up to Manilva itself, Asador A Grella (not yet featured on TripAdvisor) as a place to have a substantial menu del dia for 13.50 euros."
