"We came here to participate/witness Holi Festival. On this holiday intense colored powders are used to toss, smear, totally cover another in a rainbow of color. The hotel gives you white garments and a turban, fitted to you, to use . White shows off the colors best! It was a lovely immersion in a cultural event unlike anything I've seen. The hotel staff over our three day stay could not have been sweeter and more accommodating. This remodeled Javeli has charm, comfort, and a lovely pool. I'm glad I had this experience, and got to see the ancient Haveli's, from a once very prosperous era of trade on the silk road route."

"Hotel Shahi Palace is a good stay with reasonable charges. Location is very good, in front of Chokhani Double Haveli. We went in January, so it was cold, but if it is sunny day, then it would be pleasant to do a Heritage walk. Hotel was clean, Service was very good and prompt. Rooms are beautiful aesthetically painted with facility of heater, TV, and welcome cookies. Food was ok. Few suggestions: 1. there should be some indoor games arrangement for kids and adults, like carrom, pool table, Table tennis, board games, etc. 2. They should provide closed dustbins instead of open dustbins."
