"We visited in June/July 26. The staff are lovely but I'm not sure the hotel deserves it's star rating or it's Jet 2 rating. Our room was an executive apartment. It was said to have a fully fitted kitchen and air-conditioning and looked very good and and quite upmarket in the brochure. It was very tired looking and where we expected a bit of luxury it was very basic. The kitchen had a coffee maker and sink but was definitely not fully equipped as there was no other equipment to be able to do any cooking of any description not even a knife or fork etc. The air conditioning was only in the kitchen/living area and didn't cool the bedroom at all. The cleaning wasn't really cleaning - it was bed making and towel refresh. The Jet 2 brochure describes various health and fitness options including air-conditioned gym and various classes including Yoga and aqua aerobics but these simply didn't exist. The brochure also states the bar is open fora MINIMUM of 12 hours a day but it's actually open for a Maximum of 12 hours and closes completely at 10.30pm. As there are no real bars in Maleme your only option is to drink on your balcony or go to bed. The food was adequate but quite repetitive. If you didn't get foor your meal as the restaurant opened you were very limited to what you could have as a lot of things didn't appear to be replenished. The pool areas are very nice with lots of comfortable sunbeds. The hotel also has some not so comfortable sunbeds on the beach for €5 for 2 beds and a umbrella. As I said initially all the staff are friendly amd helpful which is why I'm giving the review 4 stars instead of 3. I know the hotel attracts a lot of repeat visitors and I think the staff are the main reason for this. Unfortunately not a hotel we would return to."

Secret Garden Hotel

"I loved this place. It was a 3 stop bus ride from our hotel (Sunny Suites) but well worth it. The service was impeccable (blond lady), very polite and efficient. The menu isn't what you would find in the big restaurants but was what I wanted at the time (fancied a burger), and that's the sort of stuff they do (think cafe food, omelettes, burgers, fries, salads, etc. Lovely bar and seating area with the cutest kitty you've ever seen. She was looking for a home for it at the time. The prices are good too-much cheaper than other places although the food is good quality and speedy service. I had dessert of cheesecake which was extra special. Seek this place out please as many don't seem to have heard of it."

Castro Beach Hotel

"Everything was perfect ! From the bar to the buffet, including cleaning service and reception. The staff is smiling and pleasant no matter the time or location of the hotel. I honestly have nothing to complain about."

Solon Apartments

"Myself and my brother had a wonderful 2week stay. The appts. Were spacious, funtional and very clean. Nektaria was especially welcoming and helpful She and her staff made our time at the Solon very enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning 🙂"

"Smukt lille hotel med en kort gåtur til stranden.Udelukkende ren og masser af faciliteter i rummet - kedel, køkken, sandwich maker osv. Nogle søde restauranter i nærheden og et supermarked.Vi havde en så kort tur til Platanias. Anbefale Oliva Hotel og vil ikke tøve med at blive der igen."
