Osteiner Hof by the Apartment Suite

"I have just returned from the Osteiner Hof in Mainz where I stayed for a week in the Bremen apartment with my wife. Whilst the location was excellent the apartment was very small. As you come in the door there is a small toilet and wash basin immediately to the right and a 4 inch step up to the rest of the apartment which you had to be aware of. My wife did manage to trip on one occasion. There is a Chaise Longue stuck in an alcove which is the only place to sit comfortably alone or side by side if you have a partner. No arm chairs. The kitchen is reasonably fitted out and there is a high table with 3 high bar stools which if you are small or elderly can be a problem. Leading off the kitchen is a small shower room which you have to manoeuvre into a corner to close the door. The shower is good though. The bedroom is a reasonable size and has a wardrobe. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were large square things which were impossible to sleep on, for us anyway. The windows were a good 7 feet up so no view. For almost a thousand pounds a bit pricey and more suited for a weekend rather than a week. "

"Det er et smukt lille hotel i modsætning til hovedstationen i Mainz, så det er meget let at komme til steder, og der er mange butikker og supermarkeder omkring. Mit værelse var lille, men ren, og der var ikke meget støj på trods af at man kiggede på stationen.Badeværelset var meget sødt, jeg tror det var større end værelset selv!Personalet var meget varmt og venligt, og morgenmad var mere end tilstrækkelig."
