"Solo trip for leisure and some work. Perfect location for exploring Mahon. My first picture is the beautiful view literally two minutes walk away at the end of the street! ... On arrival I was greeted by the genuinely friendly and helpful Paco on reception, who made me feel welcome and at home right away. The room was basic but clean and comfortable with an equally clean and well maintained bathroom. Small TV on the wall (pretty much all Spanish!) Bed was comfortable also, with extra blankets provided if needed. Air-con was used for heat due to time of year and was quiet and efficient. Rooms are cleaned daily to an excellent standard. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel is excellent, which was good for me as I was doing a little work also (just a hint ... There are two different connection points using the same password for the rooms and the bar area) The bar is friendly, serving good chilled beers. I only had one snack there (made again by the lovely Paco!) and the odd coffee as most of the time I was out and about. Not much else to say really other than I would thoroughly recommend this little gem if you just want a good, honest, value for money base with no frills in the centre of Mahon. Thank you Paco and staff and I hope to see you again sometime :-) PS. Just a hint if you have a hire car ... The surrounding streets are narrow and a little tricky to navigate. There is free parking available in the surrounding vicinity but you'll have to hunt it out and may have to walk a few minutes to get there! Good luck! "

"Located somewhat out of the center, but with good views of the harbor. The room was very, very small, with barely any room to walk between the bed and the table or the window. I had to get dressed in the hallway. The price of the room is no excuse for meeting minimum room standards. The spa was small, but enough to relax for a while. The breakfasts were phenomenal. Variety and quality. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely stay again, but in a different room."

"We stayed a family of five, and were separated into two rooms, but on the same floor. Nice hotel. Excellent breakfast and service at the bar. Parking right outside on the street. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious enough for two/three persons. All staff were kind and generous, and I would definitely recommend staying there - and have the breakfast! - also, book a room with a view over the sea. Amazing! We had troubles booking on the website, and the banking approval process for Denmark seemed to be blocked by the website. Ended up showing up in person at the hotel and got it solved."

"What a gem of a hotel! Hotel Sindic is a beautiful boutique hotel with a stunning historic entrance hall that immediately sets the tone for your stay. The bedrooms are pristine, stylishly modern, spotlessly clean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable – we slept so well throughout our stay. The breakfast was exceptional, with a fantastic selection of artisan bakes and fresh options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Every morning felt like a real treat. A special mention must go to Sarah, who has been an amazing host from start to finish. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and her warm, welcoming approach makes you feel completely at home. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful sun trap and the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day wandering around Mahón. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. "Vi ankom med min ven om 13:00, et af de to værelser (i virkeligheden er lejligheder til 3 eller 4 personer) var klar, og det andet var ret hurtigt. Efter vores indgang, varme chokerede os så varmt, at det var. Luftkonditioneringssystemet er så gammelt, at man skal sætte en nøgle i en kasse og derefter tænde klimaet, men når man går, er man nødt til at tage nøglen, så når man kommer tilbage om aftenen, Det er så varmt, som hvis du ikke havde klima. Desuden er klimaet i stuen og frisk luft går ikke til værelset, hvor det gør ekstremt varmt, så du sover dårligt. Morgenmaden på € 12 er behagelig, faktisk er der ingen rent parkering på hotellet, men i juni kan man alligevel finde steder på gaden, mens i sommeren må det ikke være det samme. Udstyr niveau er der, hvad der skal. En lille detalje, men der er virkelig absurd, i badeværelset bidet er hængt på toiletmøbler, så uigennemførlig for det intime toilet."

The food, buffet style, was plentiful & tasty,(a second chef to cook different egg choices at breakfast would have helped the solo one who was rushed off his feet).
