"Beautiful hotel with stunning views about an hour from Chiang Mai. Perfect place to relax in nature. Breakfast was good with several choices. There were quite a lot of insects because of the natural environment, but the room was clean and insect spray was provided."

""Our Stay at Nelamit" "We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Nelamit. The room with its stunning view was a highlight, and the warm temperature provided by the heater was much appreciated. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, we did notice some minor areas for improvement. The dome could benefit from a deeper clean to address some minor fungal growth. Additionally, we believe the room rate should include complimentary soap for the bathtub, which would enhance the overall guest experience. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owner for maintaining such a lovely property and for the dedication of their staff, particularly during both peak and off-season periods. We hope these suggestions will be considered for future guests.""

"Don’t get me wrong. This is a wonderfully, idyllic place which no photos can do justice. It is right beside a lovely stream and you’ll hear its wonderful cascading sounds. The space itself is generously sized with a large dinning room and big bedroom, all of which is well appointed with great views. What’s more you can your dinner delivered by ordering through the caretaker/cleaner. But this is also where the problem is. The owner relies on the caretaker/cleaner to run it and it’s done imperfectly. Checking in was confusing for when we arrived she had just finished cleaning and I thought she was the cleaner and someone else would formally check us in, so we waited around, but that never happened. The apartment was not mopped properly as there were obvious marks left by unclean feet beside the balcony. I cleaned it up with moist toilet paper as I wasn’t in a complaining mood. The rest of the apartment seemed clean enough though. Next there were no towels, coffee, mugs nor drinking water. So I contacted the property on the Line app (very necessary for communications in Thailand) and got a quick response. The caretaker/cleaner brought us 1 bath towel and 3 hand towels. I suppose they had run out of bath towels! She brought 2 bottles of mineral water and 2 glasses, but no coffee. I later noticed that there wasn’t a bar of soap for the hand washing basin. Luckily I had brought my own, We took the opportunity to order dinner through her and in arrived soon after 5pm as I had requested. It was delicious. We checked out just before 10am the next day. But as there was no check-in procedure, nor we were told of a check-out procedure, we simply closed all the windows and shut the door behind us. Would I return again? I think I would ... because this setting right by the stream is so captivating that I would forgive all the imperfections. But I’d bring my own coffee and maybe towels too!"

"The property is just in the middle of nowhere!! We came in at night and it was a very secluded spot. There was no dinner service available....the house is a three bedroom with a tiny pool and 2 bathrooms. The living room is spacious, there is a pantry , but no microwave or cooking utensils. The house itself was very comfortable and the bed was great. But, seeing the word village, one would expect a few more houses. It is so secluded....if you love privacy then you will enjoy it. Bfk, was very basic too and even the toaster provided was not working. For the price we paid, there should be more amenities and service."

"Beautiful little guesthouse tucked into a valley. The room was rustic and comfortable. Fell asleep to the sound of the stream below. A delicious Thai breakfast was servered. We also too advantage of the evening bbq option. My only complaint would be the thin wall between rooms. Fortunately the neighbors were mostly quiet."

"My family and I stayed at this hotel for three days. It's a cozy hotel perfect for relaxation. Peaceful, quiet, and the grounds are cozy. The hot springs are a special treat. The cabin was clean, but I'd give it a minus for the terrace, which wasn't cleaned. Robes and towels were changed daily. Water was replenished daily. The only thing is, if you're traveling with children, think twice. They might get bored. There's nothing else on the hotel grounds except the hot springs. Breakfast was the same every day, but delicious. Since the hostess is a vegetarian, there are no meat dishes on the menu."
