"Good hotel for short stays, but...
1. There are insects in the room. Not bed bugs or cockroaches, just insects from outsides but still.
2. Strong smell of ”farm land”. Not in rooms, only outside. I am ok with it, but somebody can disgust it.
3. Breakfast is poor. No protein - eggs or meat. Only waffles (hot), regular yogurt and cereal. No laundry (which is expected).
4. Noice from trucks entering highway nearby.
Nevertheless, the room was clean (excluding insects mentioned above). Quite convenient location - grocery and few restaurants are very close."

"All great and very friendly staff. Only major downside is noise. People walking on floors above and in the hallway are very audible. The fridge is also in the same space as the bed and when it goes into cooling cycles it's extremely loud in the middle of the night."

This is a bedroom and bathroom with an exterior private entrance located at the end of our residence. It is private and secure. Enjoy books, puzzles and card games. I have lots of crafts if you desire, so don’t hesitate to ask. The home is located near the end of a private Road. You will have access to a shared back yard, seasonal fire pit and bbq upon request. (Provide your own wood and charcoal). In our little town of North Fork you will find a Pizza Factory, North Fork BBQ (BBQ and smoked meats) and the infamous Buckhorn Bar. Come enjoy the mountain views near Bass Lake & Yosemite National Park in the Sierra National Forest. Built by Grandpa from reclaimed barn wood & wooden winery trays & decorated by Grandma with a lifetime collection of antiques and family photos, this house feels the way a rustic cabin in the mountains should. Whether you come in Spring/Autumn for a hike, crisp clean air and star gazing, or for a day at the lake on a hot Summer day, our cabin makes the perfect cozy base camp.
Fun fact! The south side of Bass Lake, near the cabin, is where the 1988 classic movie 'The Great Outdoors' with Dan Aykroid and John Candy was filmed.
We are perfectly located for a visit to Bass Lake, Manzanita Lake, or Yosemite National Park.
The main cabin: The space is perfect for a group of friends and/or family to gather. Our cabin has a large cozy living room with plenty of seating, a wood burning fireplace, standing AC units (no central air), and Grandpa's wet bar (the man knew how to have fun *BYOB) in the corner. The living room is stocked with toys, games, books and puzzles. Off of the living room is a large deck with an umbrella, outdoor seating, and a propane grill. From the patio nature lovers may see deer, wild turkeys, lizards, fox, quail, eagles, hawks, woodpeckers, bluejays, and hummingbirds. The sunroom off the living room is the perfect place to read or play a game. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need and has a large dining room table. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a soaking tub. A full bathroom is located off the hall and is stocked with all the basics for your use. The upstairs bedroom has a king sized bed, AC, windows galore (with blackout curtains so you can sleep in) and a sliding glass door leading to a balcony with a view for miles. Under the stairs you'll find a washer and drier. The cabin has a strong wifi connection and we have a smart TV in the living room. No cable TV, but feel free to log into your streaming accounts!
**We are currently remodeling the kitchen but doing it one piece at a time so it doesn’t impact guests. Right now you’ll see we pulled the oven out but we bought a brand new small temporary one. The kitchen is still fully functional :)
The bunkhouse: In the bunkhouse you'll find two bedrooms joined by a half bath. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and open closet. Based on guest feedback we now have AC in the bunkhouse rooms! *The bunkhouse is not attached to the main cabin and uses portable heaters in the winter months for heat.
The property: We are on the boarder of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It's a no hunting annex and is usually pretty quiet so you'll likely see wild animals (mostly deer and turkeys). The land beyond the garage and end of the driveway does not belong to us. Our property is over an acre with plenty of space to park vehicles or a boat. Enjoy this 38-acre private resort property located in a serene area of the city of Raymond, CA. This property is about 1.5 hours from Yosemite. We are minutes from Lake Hensley and 30 minutes from Eastman Lake. Tour the local historic towns that are nearby or plan a drive into Fresno or Madera.
Enjoy the 1926 sq ft house, with 3 full bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms. The house can accommodate up to 12 guests. We are pet friendly too, for those who like to travel with their fur babies.
Come create lasting memories at our private resort-like property, that features a custom-built dam with reclaimed granite from the property as you pull onto the driveway. Stop and take a family photo on the benches. As you drive in the driveway is fully lined with Mexican Blue Palm, Crepe Myrtle and Olive trees. Enjoy a picnic around the pond or relax as you try catching some fish. Spend time with your family around the large oak trees or swing on our classic swing. In the evenings gather round the wood burning fire pit on our log seating and roast marshmallows or make some smores.

For the family chef, the kitchen is fully equipped for creating amazing family dinners. Eat and socialize at the dining room table, or after a meal have some family game time with a variety of vintage board games.
Venture into the living room where there is a smart TV, comfortable seating and over a hundred classic movies on DVD for a family movie night. Fire up the kettle popcorn machine for fresh theater style popcorn.
After a day of adventure enjoy the 1/2-acre spacious backyard oasis that is fully fenced in and has been professionally landscaped. The beautiful backyard is full of amenities for your enjoyment. These amenities include: a pool with a waterfall, and a heated spa. After a swim rinse off in our pool side shower.
There is a custom-built pergola with fans and sunshades, along with a rope swing. There is lots of space for the family to enjoy.
There is a barbecue area equipped with a BBQ grill, Pizza oven and a fireplace to set the mood. We also have two Italian glass fire pits for you to relax and take in the ambiance of the flames from the blue or red glass. All on propane plumed lines.
