"Good hotel for short stays, but... 1. There are insects in the room. Not bed bugs or cockroaches, just insects from outsides but still. 2. Strong smell of "farm land". Not in rooms, only outside. I am ok with it, but somebody can disgust it. 3. Breakfast is poor. No protein - eggs or meat. Only waffles (hot), regular yogurt and cereal. No laundry (which is expected). 4. Noice from trucks entering highway nearby. Nevertheless, the room was clean (excluding insects mentioned above). Quite convenient location - grocery and few restaurants are very close."

"The on-site restaurant was closed do to unforeseen circumstances, I get it but you could have answered the phone when I called 2 times on check in day or returned my calls that I made to let you know we'd arrive at 8: 30 pm, som var lidt senere end planlagt.Hele grunden til, at jeg bookede dette hotel ophold med dig, var, fordi du havde en charmerende restaurant.Du er en slags ud i skoven, som er fantastisk, men det betyder, at du er det eneste spil i byen, når det kommer til sent middag. Vi prøvede at planlægge, men din manglende kommunikation forbød os at spise den aften."

"Old world charm, but unfortunately some major flaws. We were there for a retreat, which was handled very well by the staff. Good meeting room and very nice breakfasts and lunches. Dining room was uncomfortably small for a full house. Our room was charming but tight. No real sitting area. The bed was comfortable, but the down duvet was too hot. The bathroom was atrocious. There was no effective lighting. The tub shower was quite awkward to get into, and it was difficult to safely reach the door to close it. Most disappointing however was the near total lack of hot water. Apparently the heater or storage tank is not up to servicing nine rooms we were told. That was unforgivable. A major plus is the proximity to The Elderberry house, one of the premiere restaurants in the Central California."
