"Great place to stay and plenty to do around"

Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa ★★★★

"I took my wife here for her 60th, amazing staff receptionist charlotte was warm and knowledgable, very kind giving us a token due to birthday. The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now. The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food. Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice. It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there"

Macclesfield Lodge ★★

"I hadn’t realised tje majority of people staying were from the local community, ie on benefits. The room was good value with great facilities."

Premier Inn Macclesfield North ★★★

"L＞ovely location. rooms clean. only issue is not able to cool the rooms down in hot weather and windows only open a small amount not enough to get good air circulation which is also impossible with curtains closed. When sleeping you need to close widows to avoid road noise so you can sleep."

Mottram Hall ★★★★

"god erfaring"

The Tytherington ★★★★

"Nice room, although it was set up for 1 person .breakfast on the sunday morning was dissapointing. Monday morning breakfast was great, nice welcoming and food was well stocked, imelda was friendly. And everything was well organised. Spa pool was too hot on the first day, 5minutes in there was unbearable."

Hollin House Hotel ★★★

"Stayed on 20 June 2025 I chose this place because I was looking for somewhere different to the typical hotels and BnBs during my Europe trip. I was more mobile with a rented car. The photos in the booking website did not do it justice as it gave a “******* castle” vibe but in reality is lovely and bright. In addition, the relatively low price and limited time to book. I am puzzled that it's ratings did not exceed 4 stars as it exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm, kind, and prompt. Breakfast was excellent, with the amazing view from the room, overlooking a meadow with grazing sheep. An added bonus: it’s located along the Grindstone Path, making it a perfect and convenient spot for hiking enthusiasts."

Gun End Cottage ★★★★

The Bridge ★★★★

"Værelset var lidt forældet.Møblerne blev lukket, og sengene var ikke de mest behagelige, men det passede vores formål.Personalet var virkelig søde og venlige.Ville gå tilbage, hvis vi havde brug for en stille nat væk."
