"We had a very pleasant stay at this 5-star hotel in Maastricht. The hotel is elegant, ideally located, and the staff truly goes out of their way to ensure guests feel comfortable and fully enjoy their stay. Thanks to their attentiveness and warm welcome, we had a wonderful time in this beautiful city. However, a few points could further enhance the experience: - It would be appreciated to have a telephone in the room for easy access to reception. - The bath towels could be larger to better reflect the hotel's standard. - Finally, the breakfast, offered at €38 per person, seemed a bit limited for the price. It would benefit from either being expanded to better reflect the advertised price or being offered at a more reasonable price, around €20 to €25. Despite these constructive remarks, we have very fond memories of our stay and sincerely thank the entire team for their kindness and professionalism."

"We checked in on August 8th. Overall, the staff were quite friendly, except for the lady at the front desk during check-in. At first, we were asked to pay €199, even though we were certain that everything had already been paid in advance except for the city tax. While I was double-checking the booking details with my dad—who doesn’t speak English, so I had to translate for him—the receptionist became noticeably impatient. She firmly insisted there was no mistake and repeatedly emphasized that every hotel in this country charges a city tax, which made us feel as if we were being treated like ignorant guests unwilling to pay. When it later turned out that the error was on her side, she did not offer any apology. This left us feeling quite uncomfortable."

It's clean and cozy, decorated with antique furniture. The breakfast was also good. And ideally located in the city center near the Vrijthof square."

"The hotel is quite far from the train station, taking nearly half an hour to walk. The gravel road is inconvenient for luggage. There's only one bus stop nearby, with infrequent services. There are also few places to eat or drink, making it inconvenient. You have to go back to the train station to get anything. The hotel also charges a separate service fee, which differs from the price listed on Ctrip's website. After unsuccessful communication, Ctrip ultimately paid the compensation. The room was small, typical of a European business hotel."
