"The hotel was lovely, but what was most beautiful were the people at the hotel. They were all so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. The gentleman that made my room up everyday whilst I was there, Mohir, was always polite and respectful and was always happy to get me water bottle refills. He also occasionally made-up the room with special and unique decor which was a lovely surprise when done. Absolutely loved that! Then the lovely young lady on pool/restaurant duty, Neema, was an absolute delight! She was friendly and easy to talk too and I had a great time getting to know her too. The restaurant also had staff that were always courteous and friendly with me. In particular, Jowel, went above and beyond to ensure that I was always happy with the food and drinks (especially coffee refills) and ensured that my gluten-free diet was always accommodated. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back in a heart beat! The location of the hotel is pretty convenient too. Especially for beach lovers wanting to swim at bikini beach and the infinity pool is the best way to end the day with sunset watching. It was an unforgettable stay!"

"Vi bookede i alt 4 værelser, og 3 af dem blev opgraderet gratis, hvilket var en behagelig overraskelse.Jetten er bekvemt beliggende lige foran hotellet, hvilket gør overførsler meget nemt.Hotellet er meget nyt, rummeligt og velbevaret. Overordnet havde vi en komfortabel og sjov ophold.Den bedste del af dette hotel er taget, hvor du kan nyde en oversigt over hele Maafushi Island.Det er et perfekt sted at slappe af, se solnedgangen og tage i den smukke øscenario."

"Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. Special thanks to BERLIN as he is only senior label staff who always asked feedback with friendly manner and engage to guest relation service.provided all the information needed about our stay including chekin check out process make everything smooth and easy. Value for money: Excellent. A beautiful island stay you won't forget!"

"Staying here in January 2026. Firstly, we arrived here after a long flight, and there was a DJ “welcome” party from 4 PM. The music was so loud, that the bed and walls were vibrating..it felt like you are on a stadium. After complaining at the reception for multiple times that we excepted it to be Maldives and relax, not Ibiza and parties, and if volume could be lowered, be we’re told that “it is a welcome party”… It is not acceptable! And the hotel staff won’t listen to their guests! They do not appreciate their clients at all! Secondly, upon arrival the balcony door was broken - could be neither closed nor opened. The person arrived to fix this somehow only after the third request. Thirdly, the room was dirty - the mirrors and side tables. Fourthly, unfunctioning cabinet doors. Fifthly, I am not mentioning ongoing construction works next. Sixthly, they check their guests into rooms next to the staff work rooms!"

"This hotel is right next to the famous Kani Resort in Maafushi, with Bikini Beach just downstairs. I specifically chose a balcony room for the view, but when I opened the balcony door, I realized it was all buildings! There was absolutely no view at all, and I felt like the extra money was completely wasted. If you want a sea view, you should probably choose one of the other two more reputable hotel brands. The decor and facilities are indeed a bit dated. There's no elevator, and the staff needed help with luggage. The room was spacious and well-equipped, but there was no hot water, and the showerhead didn't work. The front desk was often away, making it difficult to find staff. However, they had a good breakfast selection, including freshly made omelets, and you can book ocean excursions through the hotel. The location was also relatively easy to find."

"Inspite of booking a deluxe room months in advance and requesting a quiet room on an upper floor,we were allotted an inferior room bang in the hotel lobby. A dingy room with No windows. We were told that all the upper rooms are occupied, which was not the case as they were observed haggling with walkin prospective customers later on for those very same rooms. On arrival in the room,one member of the staff knocked and insisted that he be paid the 12 USD green tax ON THE SPOT and INSTANTLY;he was not prepared to wait even a minute. There are other not-so-friendly rules of the hotel . Please avoid. There is also nothing exceptional about the hotel's location. They are also inflexible to any customer requests. The staff are fine but the management needs to wake up. There are much finer hotels in terms of location and surely in terms of customer orientation."

"Do not book your excursions through this hotel! My partner and I booked a ‘Half Day’ trip which included 3 snorkelling points and lunch on a sandbank. We were with 8 other people. When we left in the morning the weather was beautiful, however when we got to the first snorkelling point, it was windy, cold and pouring down rain. Our guide said ‘if the weather conditions continue we will have to go back to Maafushi’, we all understood because it was really bad conditions. After 30 minutes of waiting, the guide said we could start snorkelling, many of us were very uncomfortable because the weather hadn’t changed much, it was still harsh winds and rain. We had a professional swimmer in our group and he went in the water for 3minutes and came out - he said it’s too harsh. Barely any of us felt safe to go in. Those that did go in went in for 2-3 minutes. After 20 minutes, they gave us lunch and took us to the sandbank. Then we headed back to Maafushi. All 10 of us complained because we weren’t happy with the service, we understood the weather is in no one’s control however none of us felt comfortable or safe so why not bring us back to the island? We asked for a refund the managers said ‘No because we have to pay for fuel and if we give you a refund we won’t make any profit.’ They were completely unprofessional and their customer service was terrible."

"We arrived at Male airport and arranged pick up from the hotel and were advised to be at the picket point at 9.30 am. for 10 o'clock boat .We were there at 9.15 am but they said that 10 am boat has engine issues and unable to transfer till 11.30am which is fair but on arriving at the hotel the reception staff said you guys missed the 10 am boat because you were not on time and when we stated that we were 45 minutes earlier at the pick up point the hotel staff went quiet and changed the topic . After hour wait for check-in we were told that the rooms which we booked has some lock issues and they cannot accommodate us in that room and the hotel is full so they are not able to accomodate us in the hotel but they said they can accomodation in their villa which was next door. We agreed thinking that villa would be good but later we realised that the hotel is mostly for the staff to stay and the room was dirty half used toiletries nothing in minibar,towels were literally torn bathroom door was rusted,the shower door was broken TV in the room not working when reported no action they simply stated we are completely booked and we cannot accommodate. Asked for a partial refund as we paid a way lot ,we were completely ignored, and we reported it to the online site, which we booked and on the day of departure the managed came to us and offered us 2 activity as compensation and dinner for one night but we did not accept it as we have already done the activity and vacated. After a week, chase up with the online site we got some refunds, but nothing close to what we should have returned . we have also attached the picture of the room we stayed in. we strongly recommend avoiding this hotel as it is a scam, and the room doesn't even look any close to what they have advertised. Yes, the rooms are close to jetty, but the staff and management and the room are not worthy what you pay for. Kindly avoid this place at any cost."
