"The Belver Porto Dona Maria is a Resort with a big Golfinh place. You book houses there which are en n good shape. Normally Kitchen togethee with big living room, bath with shower and pod and sleeping room. You have all things which are in a kitchen needed also a refrigerator and can cock by yourself. The friendky cleaning service (like Fatima) comes ever day and so its clean. The manager of the property will gelp you if you sre in trouble. A big swimming pool area is included to visit. You have a card for using it.Also the location is n near of the beach a small walk brings you to panorama views and amazing clips. I‘ve enjoyed the place and other people looking at my, of course its cheaper to book than a little hotel room of course Praia da loose is expensive."

"Receptionen er venlig, hurtig og ukompliceret.Vil hjælpe/svare på ethvert spørgsmål/anmodning.Beliggenhed er fin som base eller stop for at besøge Algarve (Benagil, Lagos, Sagres osv.) med bil. Konkurrencedygtig pris og alle værelser ser godt ud med udsigt over poolen og havet, godt badeværelse.Kun nederste kant er, at rummet mangler nogle køkken/disser/kaffe/te, da bar/restaurant ikke bør anbefales. Når jeg rejser denne del af Portugal igen med bil, vil jeg helt sikkert booke her."

"We have stayed here 5 times in total, but will not be back. I’ve always had a good rapport with the owner (over email), but she didn’t even seem bothered to reply, prior to our stay. While there, she sent a cleaner down to the pool area to tell us (a group of 4) to be quiet, as long stay guests were trying to read their books. No compromise, no discussion. We have since found a nice spot in Alvor, where all guests are treated with respect, and the food offering is far superior."

"We were on holiday with our 3-year-old daughter and we loved it!! The hotel is very quiet, far from the crowds that the Algarve often has, and it's only a 5-minute drive from Praia da Luz beach. It's not luxurious, but everything is very tidy, well-maintained and clean, and it has a very nice outdoor pool area. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was very good. We always had dinner at the hotel and it was all great too, a buffet dinner with very well-prepared food, we liked everything! And I have to highlight the friendliness of all the staff, especially the gentleman in charge of the dining area, he was very kind to us and very attentive to details for our daughter. The only less good aspect to mention is really the dinner time, which is only served until 9 pm. We found it too early for someone on holiday and in the middle of the summer season, when you try to enjoy the beaches as much as possible. In our opinion, this is the only aspect that could be improved, at least during the summer season."

"Great location. Easy walk to Fishermans Trail, beach, restaurants and grocery stores. Good size apartment with adequate supplies for our stay. Underground parking a plus. Weekly bed linen, towel service was appreciated. A weekly supply of washing and dish washer pods was nice too. Alloro Restaurant at the resort was excellent."

"Wasn't sure what to expect when we booked, but given our arrival time, 11.45 pm ,things went relatively smoothly. The room was surprisingly spacious, well equipped, and very clean. All requirements for a self catering vacation were catered for ,above and beyond. Down side, very thin adjoining walls. We had a couple 10 days out of 14 who basically had no consideration for anyone else's privacy. Noise from 6.00am and again until 2.00am in the morning. Apart from that, the area is great, pricier than I was expecting (being a portugal Newby). We opted for Chinese, Indian meals on a few occasions as we found spending circa £ 65 per night for mediocre food excessive. Saffron is brilliant. I totally recommend them if you're partial to a Ruby . Would I come again? Absolutely!.But I would try and find a room with no neighbours. "
