"The damp environment on the mountain made the older hotels seem outdated, and we were worried that our two guests, who had just returned from abroad, wouldn't be comfortable. So we opted for the newly built Atour Hotel, which had been renovated just over a year ago. We were extremely satisfied with our two-day stay – the environment, facilities, food, and service were all excellent. We were particularly pleased with the cuisine; on the second day, we ordered a whole chicken soup for lunch, which we couldn't finish, and for dinner, they even added rice noodles, which were delicious. The braised pork was especially tasty. We were also very satisfied with the dining environment. We considered eating at a restaurant not far from the hotel, but the prices and ambiance were unacceptable, so we returned to the hotel for dinner. Our foreign guests said they would definitely recommend this hotel to their friends. This hotel in Lushan was truly a very satisfactory choice! The hotel is very close to the former site of the conference (a 5-minute walk), and next to the hotel is the former residence of Nie Rongzhen, which is a stop for the sightseeing bus. We were grateful to the hotel for providing a direct shuttle to the Xiaotianchi transfer center on our return trip. From there, the bus down the mountain only costs 10 yuan per person and takes 45 minutes."

Because it wasn't a holiday, we were given a room upgrade, which was very spacious. The room was neat and clean, with all the amenities. More importantly, the staff were wonderful. The front desk staff enthusiastically helped us, a first-time visitor to Lushan, with tips and advice on how to plan our itinerary (including the best parking spots for three tour routes) and were very considerate of our pet, even coordinating cleaning times with the maid. The lobby manager not only gave us a nice discount at the Chinese restaurant on the first floor, but also, in the hot afternoon, arranged shuttle service to and from Meilu and the museum. A five-star rating is a must!"

"The hotel has a great location, close to Xiufeng Waterfall Scenic Area. There's a shopping mall nearby where you can shop and have a meal. The room facilities were decent, and the service was good. Breakfast wasn't included, so I didn't try it. We went to the first restaurant on the right after entering the Xiufeng Waterfall Scenic Area and had a bowl of Nanchang mixed noodles for just a few yuan – it was fantastic and delicious! Since the Xiufeng Waterfall cable car was under maintenance, we didn't go up, but the photos taken from below were still very nice. When we left the hotel, we saw a newlywed couple making a lot of noise with drums and gongs!"

"The entire room was decorated in comfortable warm tones, with soft but not dim lighting. The bedding was super soft and clearly high-quality – once you lay down, you won't want to get up! The shower had fantastic water pressure and instant hot water, making for a truly refreshing experience. A special shout-out to the slippers – they had thick soles and soft fabric, not those flimsy ones that flatten immediately. The fabric sofa was very plush, and the TV was large with a clear picture. Downstairs, there's a huge ground-level parking lot with plenty of spaces, so no worries if you're driving. It's just a few minutes' drive from the city center, and there are many delivery options nearby if you get hungry late at night."
