"Jeg bookede bordet som min gæstehus indkvartering, mens jeg deltog i et bryllup i Polkobin (Konventet).Jeg kunne ikke have været lykkeligere med mit valg. Jo er en utrolig vært og kok, og fra det øjeblik, jeg kom fra Sydney senere end planlagt til en smilende vært, et tilbud om en drink, en varm ild og tre kursusmåltider.Jeg vidste, jeg var i en dejlig weekend.Sengelinned var så blød og behagelig. Den tre kursus morgenmad var utrolig.Jo gik ud af vejen for at tilbyde denne travle mor R&R hun havde så meget brug for, selv efter at have droppet mig på brylluppet den næste dag, en god 25-minutters kørsel væk.Hendes kære hund Harvey er en ekstra bonus. Denne sten af et sted føles som en varm kæmpe.Jeg vil helt sikkert være tilbage og jeg er fristet til at booke hele stedet ud (og Jo) med venner.Romantisk, rolig og venlig.Giv denne lokale forretning din virksomhed.Du vil ikke blive skuffet. "Positives - great view, location, fairly new air con so efficient, good showerhead and ok bed. Unfortunately, it is dated and needs a lot of TLC. Can't believe we paid $360 for two nights. Just look at the photos I took. They speak for themselves. On the website, it mentions a restaurant but it looks like it has not been functioning for a long time. In our "chalet", there were things in the fridge and freezer from previous guests, cobwebs galore in the room and the lounge was stained and squeaky. We put a blanket on the lounge so we could sit on it. Kitchen and bathroom were made to look like it had a row of feature tiles but it was a "stick on" feature that was peeling off. I don't know what constitutes a "resort" but this is not a "resort" that you want to stay at. This place should be shut down until repairs and a deep clean has been done. My purpose in writing this review is not to shame but to warn others not to spend the money. Stay somewhere else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and I will never go back. I will look for other accommodation in the vineyards. "

"Leaves and fishes is a place like no other in the Hunter Valley. As soon as you arrive you are greeted by the most beautiful grounds and I instantly felt a sense of calm. My husband and I LOVED our boathouse. With its king size bed, incredible bath and beautiful outlook how could you not! We actually planned to do more activities while we were in the Hunter, but we loved the serenity and our boathouse so much we actually spent most of our time there. An absolutely beautiful place to stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you for such a beautiful stay. Sal and Mark"
