"The hotel is located in the city center. To get there, a maze of small, narrow one-way streets, but it is possible even with a fairly large car. The luggage drop-off stop is possible in the nearby square, and the closed and paid parking lot is a little further away. All this is well indicated and detailed (itinerary) on the website and on a document given upon our arrival. It is best to reserve parking in advance; it was full when we arrived at the end of the day. The same goes for the restaurant located in a superb room. All of the buildings that make up the hotel are magnificent and very well maintained, these historic places are well valued; it is very pleasant to wander both outside in the gardens and swimming pool, as well as inside in the lounges. Spacious and superb rooms with clean carpet and very nice decoration, contemporary furniture. Bay window with parqueted balcony and a very pretty view from the 4th floor over the roofs and the wooded hill opposite. Large comfortable bed with mattress topper and cozy duvet. Large screen TV with Canal+. Efficient and quiet air conditioning. Refrigerator with a complimentary bottle of filtered water. Kettle with tea and chamomile, Nespresso coffee maker with capsules. Bathrobe and slippers. The insulation could be improved (normal given the age of the building), but the place is quiet (we asked for a quiet room and we were granted). Well lit bathroom. Many welcome products can be requested at reception (moisturizing cream, makeup remover pads, cotton buds, dental kit, sewing kit, etc.) which the managers explain by an ecological approach; it looks more like an economical approach... Walk-in shower, large sink, Nuxe brand soap dispenser. No welcome booklet, all useful information must be deciphered from a QR code, therefore not accessible without digital technology. Buffet breakfast at your discretion in a splendid room with stone walls and exposed beams. The quality is average for certain dishes: non-crispy bacon and lukewarm scrambled eggs, Aveyron sausages, yogurts, unpresentable fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses (excellent Rocamadour), bad coffee, cereals, dry and floury pancakes with maple syrup, mini pastries... The variety and quantity are there, but the quality is below an Ibis; it is not worthy of the place and the price. In summary, magnificent places full of history, kind welcome, some less pleasant details. We had a pleasant stay and we recommend this hotel."
