"Vi kom hjem efter et 14-dages ophold i Mikados.Vi har tidligere opholdt os i nogle af de store alle inklusivt resorts.Hvilken stor ånde af frisk luft er Mikado og Lola, ejer/vært/chef. Mikado er beliggende i en smuk jungleplads fuld af dyr og fugleliv.Hver dag ville vi se smukkere fugle og aber med deres børn.Vi er aldrig trætte af at sidde på den vidunderlige veranda, der ser solen komme op og gå ned. Kabinerne er meget private og luksus.Med en smuk regnshower og en lavet minibar, en kongelig seng og hvad mere du kunne bede om.Ejendomen er smuk med en uendelig pool, hvor der aldrig er en rush for lounge. Ofte var vi de eneste på poolen.Der er en smuk gåtur rundt om ejendommen også.Og sidst, men bestemt ikke mindst, er Lola, den vidunderlige vært.Hun vil gøre alt for at gøre dit ophold specielt.Frue og middag var altid fantastisk. Hun er altid der for at se, om du har brug for noget.Hun laver store cocktails og har altid forslag til andre restaurantmuligheder.Alt i alt en meget stor, afslappende oplevelse."

Cafe Playa Negra Hotel ★★★

"A bit of an oasis on a dusty, pothole-filled road in Playa Negra. We stayed in one of the two suites which included a much-better-than-expected breakfast (try the burrito) each morning. The suite was advertised as having a balcony but, in fact, it has a patio on an inside walkway which doesn’t get any sun or much of a breeze. That aside, the room was simple but comfortable with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Room includes AC and a refrigerator with items for purchase. In the back of the property is a delightful “garden” with a small pool, great for relaxing or sunbathing. Hotel is about a ten minute walk to the beach. A few restaurants around but not a lot of options to walk to. The real highIight, however, was the staff. We had a drink in the bar each night and became friends with the friendly bartenders and waiters. Very genuine people who really made our stay wonderful. Thank you Michael, Randall, Alex, Roxie and all the rest of the staff for your hospitality!"
