"Der går en bus fra lufthavnen direkte til hotellets indgang. Det tager cirka 15 minutter at komme ind. Du skal tage dine sko af. Værelset er ikke stort, men det er meget rent. Det har varme og gulvvarme. Morgenmaden er ikke mange og smager godt. Personalet er meget venligt. Der er en udendørs specialbutik og et supermarked på gaden foran hotellet. Restauranten er også lækker. Jeg anbefaler at bo her."

"Jeg havde kun planlagt at blive i Ronville i en nat, og endelig besluttede jeg at bo en dag mere.Det var rigtigt, at rapportere om busser, sejlebåde og kørsel af krydstogtbiler.Om aftenen så jeg verdensmesterskabet i det norske hold i centrum, og at det var den førsteklasses atmosfære. Hotellets lounge har en meget hjemmefølelse, morgenmad er rig og kan også bruge køkkenet til at lave mad."

"We stayed here for two nights before going on an trip with Basecamp Explorer. The apartment had two bedrooms and a good sized living room with a well equipped kitchen. There is a washing machine in the bathroom. Check in was at the Svalbard Hotell just a few metres away. The airport bus stops in front of the hotell, so very easy to find. Our apartment was on the second floor (1st if you are from the UK), up a short flight of stairs. Dishwasher was broken and ful of dirty dishes for the duration of our stay. Apartment was clean, but common areas of the Lodge needed a good clean. A plus, or minus, is that the apartments are directly over the Svalbar pub which stays open late. Did not affect our sleep. Unless you pepare your own breakfast, there are not really any alternatives to breakfast at the Svalbard Hotell. That is is expensive, but excellent. Lodge is in the centre of Longyearbyen and you can easily walk to most of the shops and attractions."

"Fantastic hotel, unique rooms with such a cozy and great atmosphere. We even got to see the northern lights from the loft!! The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and nice. Excellent breakfast. We’re definitely coming back and we will stay here again! Truely recommend this to everyone! Thank you so much for a great stay!"
