"Jeg blev hilset som en tilbagevenden kunde, men havde ikke været der i 17 år.  Personalet var meget venligt og hjælpsomt og venligt.  Jeg fik en god service, og maden var fremragende, som jeg fik.  Det første værelse, jeg boede i, var lidt træt, men da det er et enkelt soveværelse, var det mere end acceptabelt.  Den anden nat var et andet værelse, da jeg udvidede min ophold og var en overlegen single og var mere prisbelønnet, men jeg fandt det udmærket.  A great hotel with great staff and would recommend a stay if you’re passing through Lockerbie or need a hotel base in the area"

"My trip , was disrupted before we even arrived at the hotel, we contacted Alison at the Village In to advise her we would be much later than expected and have to leave earlier than expected the next day. She was extremely accommodating and whent out of her way to assist and provide a very pleasant stay. I would definitely return next time I'm in the area."

"Avoid absolutely disgusting customer service my husband asked for our heating to turned off in our room to he told it couldn't then the next morning to be told we would have to leave if the complaints carried on we wer there for a family wedding the owner was amazing and understood everything as for the staff they wer so rude to all of our family especially the young girl workers there attitude stinks. Beer was absolutely vile it was warm my farther in law took his drink because it was warm and flat to be told he could change it this time but next time it happens he couldn't change it as in her words me and my dad have giving away to many drinks already but it was there fault. The gas wasn't working on the beer pumps they even bothard the bride the next morning to tell her there had been complaints about the heating been left on a mean who bothers a bride on the morning of her wedding instead of just dealing with the matter after all it was the hotels fault"

"Booked Hightae inn as a stop on way home from Newcastle .quite and homely B&B but this doesn’t impact on the beauty of Hightae . We had a three course dinner (very reasonably priced) and all courses were lovely, and breakfast was just as good home made bread jams and marmalade smoked salmon and poached eggs was my choice. Morag was a great host and so glad we came across Hightae and will definitely be back."

"Blev her i 2 nætter til et bryllup.Havde smuk haveværelse med stor udsigt over det omgivende landskab.Hele weekenden var fantastisk, personale (herunder Glen) meget smuk og mad lækker.Kunne ikke fejle morgenmad ..... Korn, yoghurt, frisk frugt, pasta og kogt morgenmad også.Jeg ville helt sikkert blive igen."
