"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay and can recommend it wholeheartedly. From the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. The owner picked me up from the railway station, which was included in the price. Even more impressively, they also drove me back to the station when I left, completely free of charge and purely out of kindness. When I realized that I had accidentally booked a room with a tatami mattress that was too firm for my liking, they immediately offered me an upgrade to a different room for free. The owner went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. She provided all the information I needed, was always happy to help and even invited me to join them for a meal. Her English is excellent, which made communication effortless and made me feel especially welcome as an international traveler. The homestay itself was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, but what truly sets this place apart is the warmth, kindness and generosity of the hosts. They made me feel less like a customer and more like a guest in their home. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

The owner picked us up at the ticket point and was very kind to bring us to the railway station, which is only 10 minutes away. No breakfast is served, but there is a good tiny coffe shop in the village less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel."

"We stayed for two days. As soon as we got off the high-speed train, the owner was already waiting for us and escorted us to the village gate. A young man came out and showed us around the hotel, explaining everything as he went. The hotel's location was excellent, very close to the main street, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The view from the window was beautiful, overlooking the village. The room design and amenities were excellent. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the toiletries were all TOTO. They provided plenty of disposable items (bath bags, toothpaste, toothbrushes, disposable towels, etc.), and the quality was even better than what I brought myself—great! The cleanliness was also excellent. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. It rained these past few days, and the young man even offered to bring us umbrellas while we were out. I'm so glad I booked such a wonderful hotel and met such a great young man during this trip. Thumbs up! I'll definitely come back next time!"

"I came many times in this hotel, his location near the gate and beside the park is very quiet. No noise, no car. The staff don’t speak English but is really helpful and friendly. Hotel can provide tickets for the attractions at lower price, just ask them. Also they will tell you the best places to visit in the village. Breakfast is only local noddles but I found them delicious. Of course, if you have car, you need to park at the gate of the village and take a shuttle bus. This is mandatory. No tourist cars in the village. Hundred of restaurants in the village, so no problem for this."

"The guesthouse I stayed at in Zhaoxing Dong Village was such a wonderful surprise! The location was fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the village's main scenic area. It offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the main street while still allowing me to immerse myself in the local life. Opening the window revealed traditional wooden houses with blue tiles and distant green mountains. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the smoke rising from chimneys in the evening was exactly what I imagined a Dong village to be like. The owners were incredibly welcoming; they even helped us with our luggage and recommended some amazing local restaurants, helping us avoid tourist traps – a huge plus! The room was spotless and tidy, the wooden furniture had a subtle, pleasant fragrance, and the bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get out. There was plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning was excellent. The attention to detail was evident – local tea was on the table, disposable toiletries were provided in the bathroom, and even the hairdryer was high-powered. It was a truly comfortable stay. In the evening, sitting in the guesthouse's courtyard, sipping tea, and listening to the distant Dong folk songs, I felt completely relaxed. Next time I'm in Zhaoxing, I'll definitely stay here again!"
