"I decided to book this hotel because it is the first time that I saw 100% positive comments in the Trip review! But after I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in early June 2026. I now confirmed the review is correct. I came with my daughter and this was the first time that we travelled to China by ourselves. Our first impression was the location of the hotel, their courtyard garden, and activity experiences that the hotel gave to all their guest. The hotel locates close to … gate. (walking ＜ 5 minutes) so that staying in the old town that doesn’t allow car has no impact to our traveling at all. The hotel’s garden was a stylist design of Chinese garden. The breakfast was plenty and tasty. Coffee with soy milk was great, while noodles were also delicious. It was a good combination of western and eastern breakfast style. The hotel also provided afternoon tea. They served good qualities fresh-made tea and coffee. Although the exterior design of the hotel’s building and surrounding are traditional chinese in old town, the design in the room is very modern! So staying here was very relax and comfortable. Hotel staffs took into consideration in details. All the necessary items were provided, including a very good quality pair of slippers. The toilet was also automatic and having warm seat. Hair dryer was also Dyson. The best part of our stay in this hotel was the very nice, friendly, and efficient staffs. They all are enthusiastic to help and warm. They gave us WeChat before we arrived in China, so we could contact them anytime. And they responded very fast. We felt very safe and comfort all the time while we were in Lijiang. The hotel also provided the free airport pick-up and drop-off with free of charge! They arranged everything, we just showed up on time. If we visited Lijiang again in the future, we will definitely stay here again and will also tell our friends and family to stay here too."

"First off, I was genuinely impressed the moment I stepped out of the car and saw the hotel. All the staff members were incredibly friendly. The young lady at the front desk was not only beautiful but also very patient in helping us with any issues. The hotel's overall environment is fantastic, with lots of greenery, making it very comfortable and the air quality excellent. You can even see the snow-capped mountains right from the hotel, which makes it perfect for a long-term stay. The restaurant's breakfast spread is comprehensive and delicious. The hotel's shuttle service is very convenient, always available on call. The room facilities are extensive, and the cleanliness is top-notch – absolutely spotless. Overall, this was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time."

"This hotel is tasteful, well-located, and has great 'feng shui.' It was sunny throughout my stay, which was truly addictive. To manage a hotel so well, the owner must be a person of taste, meticulousness, and broad vision. I'm quite particular about hotels. When I first booked, the pictures made it seem rather simple and rustic, and I even considered switching to a more luxurious-looking hotel. But I'm so glad I stuck with this one! Once I checked in, I discovered that what seemed simple was actually incredibly luxurious. The hotel exudes taste, comfort, and sophistication in every detail! I absolutely loved the music playing outside the room doors; it was so relaxing and perfectly set the holiday mood—just let go and enjoy. The room amenities and hotel design are excellent, truly showing consideration for guests from every angle. There's 24-hour butler service, and each room has a pair of chairs and a table outside. The rooms are spotless, and the sofas are covered with a thin linen mat, which is clearly changed for every guest. As someone who never sits on hotel sofas, even in five-star hotels, I found myself lounging on this one throughout my stay because it was so clean and comfortable. Even the bedding is incredibly comfortable. The white padded edges were pristine, with no stains. The mattress wasn't overly soft but still very comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The duvet was light yet warm, never feeling stuffy. The pillows were one firm and one soft (unlike the InterContinental next door, which had two soft ones). The firm pillow was perfect for me, as I have neck issues and prefer my neck supported while sleeping. The central air conditioning in the room also had independent hot and cold controls, which you could adjust yourself. Yunnan's weather really has large temperature swings between morning and evening. We'd turn on the heat for evening showers and a bit of AC in the hot afternoons. This is unlike other five-star hotels where AC temperatures are uniform; at this time of year, the InterContinental only had heating, no cooling, which can make a room stuffy if it's not well-ventilated. The hotel's pajamas are super soft and comfortable, and the slippers are wonderfully thick. There are also two straw hats and a straw bag in the room, perfect for photos. The room's color scheme is lovely too – not dark or oppressive, with excellent natural light. The hotel's food is outstanding! From breakfast to afternoon tea and even late-night snacks, everything is carefully prepared by the hotel. There might not be an extensive selection, but every single dish is delicious! And it's better than other hotels or restaurants in the ancient town. The ingredients are superb. The breakfast coffee is also excellent; I've spent many days in the ancient town, and no other place makes coffee as good as yours. Plus, the breakfast menu changes daily, so you won't get bored even with a long stay. There are so many other details, too many to list; you truly have to experience them yourself. In summary, the hotel's amenities and food are more comfortable than other five-star hotels, and the service sets a benchmark for guesthouses! If you want a complete holiday experience, a good mood, and have the budget, go for this hotel. It will definitely give you a unique and memorable experience!"

"The best choice when visiting Lijiang! Hua Zhu She Lan Xi Resort completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel is right next to Qingxi Reservoir, with 180° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the lake and distant mountains. You can even watch the misty snow-capped peaks from the comfort of your bed. In the evening, the lake glows with the most incredible sunset, setting a truly magical atmosphere. The room was spacious and brand new, with a sophisticated and serene Wabi-sabi Naxi style. The whole room was smart-controlled, and the large bathtub with a view was incredibly therapeutic for a soak. They also have a heated pool and plateau hot springs, perfect for unwinding after exploring the old town. It's just a few minutes' walk to the reservoir boardwalk, and a taxi to the ancient town takes about ten minutes. It's a quiet escape but still conveniently located – truly a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang!"

"I extended my stay by another day because the service was so good. When I came back, I hadn't gone to the front desk to reactivate my room key after extending. The cleaning staff proactively opened the door for us, and the front desk attendant personally delivered a new key. It was truly heartwarming and thoughtful, thank you! You absolutely deserve a full five-star rating. Besides the service, the hotel environment is genuinely beautiful, and I'll keep posting more great photos. From now on, whenever I'm in Lijiang, I will definitely stay at your hotel again."

"Discovered a hidden gem in Lijiang! No need to wake up early and brave the cold; you can simply witness the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' right from your bed. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an absolutely stunning view – the sunrise paints the snowy mountains in golden light, truly a healing and romantic experience. This is definitely a female-friendly guesthouse, with incredibly thoughtful details. The rooms come equipped with both curling irons and straighteners, so you don't have to lug heavy styling tools around when you go out. It instantly elevates your photo ops. Driving here is super stress-free, with ample and convenient parking, making entry and exit a breeze. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is gentle and attentive. My entire stay was filled with happiness. I highly recommend this place for groups of female travelers, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit Lijiang. ❤️"

"Amenities: The room is spacious. Cleanliness: It's clean and hygienic. Environment: Located in a very central area, it's convenient to take a taxi to Shuhe Ancient Town and Baisha, especially being only 1 km from Lijiang Ancient City. Service: The breakfast was great, but unfortunately, I only got to enjoy it once due to time constraints. Exquisite Double Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea with tea, fruit, and dessert was also fantastic! It's perfect for extended stays, as you can easily take a taxi to any place. There's also a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, which is excellent for photos. Overall, a great experience!"

"Placering: Hotellet ligger i et boligområde ved siden af Shuhe Ancient Town. Da vi ankom den første dag, var vejen foran indgangen til boligområdet under reparation. Hotelpersonalet havde ikke informeret os ordentligt, så efter chaufføren satte os af ved indgangen, havde vi lidt besvær med at finde hotellet. Værelsesmiljø: Vi valgte et tatami-dobbeltværelse. Arealet var overraskende stort, og tatami-området var også meget rummeligt – man kunne nemt bo fire-fem personer. Den eneste ulempe var, at gulv-til-loft-vinduet i tatami-området ikke havde nogen afskærmning, så på grund af den lave etage kunne forbipasserende og folk på den modsatte side kigge ind, hvilket kompromitterede privatlivets fred. Jeg vil anbefale hotellet at installere en gennemsigtig gardin. Derudover manglede værelset et makeupspejl ved håndvasken og et gulvspejl, hvilket også kunne forbedres. Toiletryartiklerne fra Baitai var dog gode, og hele værelset var smart-styret med en velplaceret projektor. Service: Hotelpersonalet var meget entusiastisk og servicen var fremragende. Hotellets kaffe var lækker, og vi spurgte endda om mærket på kaffebønnerne. Risnudlerne var også velsmagende. Hotellets vaskeri var rigtig godt; tøjet blev vasket og tørret rent, og man kunne efterlade en besked, så de kunne hjælpe med at tørre det."

"Hotel reception contactable via wechat and response were usually prompt. Hotel provide buggy to bring us and our luggages to our rooms upon check-in and also upon our request. Hotel environment is comfortable and relaxing, with view of the snow mountain. Rooms are clean and spacious too. Location is close to shuhe old town, just across the road. Hotel also provide laundry room with detergent. However, do remember to collect your clothes on time because when we went back a few mins late to collect our clothes, we found them taken out of the machine already. The photography service provided by the hotel in my opinion is average only. Hotel include 3 free photos, additional at 50rmb each (not sure if the price varies due to our country of origin). We waited 2 days for the supposedly edited photos but when we receive the photos, they were same as what we saw during the photo selection. Not sure why we needed to wait though. We did not try the tie-dye experience as we were tired after the photography session. Breakfast include noodle, bun, dumpling, eggs, vege, bacon, toast but it would be better if the hotel can provide different items daily as we stayed 4 nights and breakfast items for every morning are the same. Last but not least, the hotel service even include drafting a review for me to copy and paste but I prefer to write my own. :)"

"I genuinely recommend this hotel! It's super close to Heilongtan Park, about a three-minute walk. If you want to see the reflection of the snow-capped mountains or get to the classic photo spots, staying here is incredibly convenient – no need to rush in the morning. The absolute best part is that you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from your room! It's fantastic [strong]. The hotel itself is also very quiet, parking is easy, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The value for money is truly excellent."

"Our room was spacious, clean and met all our needs. From the balcony outside our room, the Jade Dragon snow mountain towered above the roofs of the ancient town. But it was the hotel staff’s helpfulness that we appreciated most. They arranged our cableway tickets to the glacier park and suggested other places to visit. They carried our luggage between the taxi drop-off and the hotel, which is inside the ancient town. They cheerfully answered all our questions. We don’t hesitate to recommend this hotel."
