The rooms are clean and tidy, and the courtyard is perfect for enjoying tea or coffee. Upon arrival, we were immediately served fruit and tea, and the owner enthusiastically shared recommendations for local cuisine. Exploring the ancient city and finding good food was incredibly easy. The breakfast was also excellent. Highly recommend staying here!"

"The owner gave us a free room upgrade. The room was very spacious, equipped with both a heater and a cooler. The owner waited for our van to arrive, greeted us by the roadside, and was ready with umbrellas because of the light drizzle. He then guided us straight into the hotel walkway. It is only a 30-meter walk from the Didi drop-off point. He served us hot tea, oranges, and Chinese tea to help ease our mountain sickness. He always asked if we needed anything.The interior design is traditional. The building has 3 floors, and you can carry your bags up the stairs. It is not too high, even though there is no elevator. The view from the rooftop is very classic, looking just like a scene from an ancient Chinese drama, with a beautiful view of the mountains. It is also within walking distance (just 100 meters) to halal restaurants and the Lijiang Ancient City North Gate. Free laundry service is available."

"My single room came with a comfy double bed (electric blanket included), was clean and tidy, with good amenities provided. The inn is located close to the entrance of the ancient town, which gives you a lot of choice for options to dine and shop each day. There is a washing machine and a roof to dry any clothes. As a solo traveller who did the trek to Tiger Leaping Gorge, I really appreciated how the owner was kind enough to store my luggage for a night while I stayed overnight in Shangri-La. The owner speaks limited English but is incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality and friendly service!"

The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant and grand design, beautifully integrated with local Naxi cultural elements. Every detail spoke of quality. The room was spacious and bright, decorated to be warm and comfortable, and the bed was so soft that I slept like a baby every night. Opening the curtains revealed a stunning view, instantly lifting my spirits. The hotel staff, especially Christina, was incredibly warm and attentive; her smile was so friendly, and she was always ready to help. The dining was also outstanding, with a variety of delicious local specialties. Every moment here was pure bliss!"

"Nestled inside the old town, just a five-minute walk from the main gate, the hotel offers a peaceful escape. Upon arrival, the staff come down to help with your luggage and guide you to the property. The setting is truly enchanting—right beside a babbling brook, surrounded by vibrant flowers, with artistically arranged landscaping that creates a serene oasis in the midst of the busy ancient town. Our concierge was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He reached out the day before our scheduled arrival to arrange a train station pick-up, greeted us warmly at the entrance, and treated us to a tea tasting. He offered excellent suggestions for dining, sightseeing, and local culture, and even managed to secure tickets to Dragon Snow Mountain—which are notoriously difficult to get. We loved it so much Ther we decided to cancel our next hotel and extend our stay here. Throughout our stay, I felt completely comfortable and well taken care of, allowing me to truly relax and enjoy every moment."

The service was also excellent. This guesthouse is really great. There's a rooftop viewing platform with views of the snow-capped mountains, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to the North Gate Waterwheel of Lijiang Old Town."
