"Smukt hotel, meget rene, gode faciliteter og smuk morgenmad.Personal er meget venlig, hjælpsom og velkommen.Fantastisk udsigt over slottet fra vores værelse.Hotellet har også sin egen restaurant, der er smuk. Vi blev i løbet af varmebølgen og kunne have gjort det med en fan, men ud over det, helt fantastisk ophold."

"Had a lovely stay with Barry & Anne, nothing was too much trouble, we were able to sit outside on the evenings after our walk to share a bottle of wine and cheese & biscuits.Anne gave us knifes and plates to help it more enjoyable. Rooms where very comfortable and the beautiful cooked breakfast was delicious. Will certainly return."

"Just returned from another stay at the Wensleydale Heifer. Another outstanding meal, the prawn cocktail, seafood pancake, strawberry pannacotta I will remember for a long time! We try to visit whenever we visit the dales and we were lucky enough to stay this time in the Gin room for the weekend. Spotlessly clean lovely room with cake, real coffee and a gin and tonic provided! The staff are amazing and the food sublime. It’s a very special place and we are looking forward to seeing you at Christmas"
