"This type of hotel is not for everyone - but - the ambience overrules any or indeed any of its shortcomings. It's a converted convent, I believe 300 years old and it's been converted very sympathetically and retains all the old architecture. You walk in off the street to a beautiful courtyard garden, like a lot of old buildings in Nicaragua. The rooms surround it and are comfortable, clean and totally satisfactory - however hot water requires patients the plumbing is not modern, but the AC works and the beds comfortable. The staff do not speak great English but were all friendly and helpful. Our bad for not learning their language to be fair. Lovely place to stay for a visit to this, the capital of their revolution."

"This guest houses has been lovely from start to finish, the ladies and gentleman here are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The sheets are immaculately clean in the rooms and really soft, you get more than one pillow! The bathrooms are kept very clean also. The pool is beautiful. The kitchen is great for cooking meals! Just remember you’ll need spices, oil etc but all the utensils and pans are there for you to use. The walk into town is a lot in the heat but we managed just fine! We also booked a volcano tour and had the best time. Thank you so much "

"Helt ærligt var Hotel Austria sådan en top-tier ophold.Beliggenheden er virkelig top-knogle for beliggenhed.Det er skridt væk fra Main Plaza i Leon og ret meget af de ting, du skulle gå til. Køleskabe var ikke automatisk i værelserne, men du kan leje en køleskab til en meget rimelig pris.Min var under $5USD hele tiden, jeg var der. Retten og værelserne har en dejlig lukket oasis, da det er så tæt på byens centrum, og det var rart at komme tilbage til efter alle turerne, nattelivet eller udforske.Bedøven indeholdt blev lavet til bestilling. Der var valgmuligheder som det traditionelle Amerika, pandekager og nogle andre ting, men jeg gik med #4 Nicaraguan, fordi det er, hvor vi er, og det var fantastisk hver gang.Det kom med kaffe (om to kopper værd) og orange saft. Sikkerhed var på vej.De har en vagthund i foran hele dagen/natten, og de kan også hjælpe dig med at få en taxi.Jeg har ingen klager og anbefaler dette hotel meget for nogen at komme til Leon."
