"Beautiful location with the alpine panorama all around. Friendly and efficient check-in. Got a nice room on the 5th floor. Rooms are spacious with balcony, a table and two chairs. Clean and tastefully appointed. Everything works. Bathrooms are a bit on the smaller side, especially with the door that swinging open towards the toilet seat. Very quiet surrounding so you get a good night of sleep. Breakfast: that is where the improvement potential lies. Loud and chaotic. Not enough food stations. Not enough staff. Buffet arranged in a way that on some stations, one single person can block the entire flow - that should be revisited. And with a full house, the noise level reminds of a military canteen. Other than that a pleasant stay. Car parking downstairs. Enough spaces though. We noticed that some guest get a reserved spot. Not sure how they got that but with this being the case, I would imagine it could get a bit tight for those that do not prebook their parking, especially during summer vacation season."

"Det venlige, lille hotel med rent funktionelle værelser. Fruebuffet er tilstrækkeligt udstyret. Garni Hotel har en køleskab til selvbetjening, så der er i det mindste drikkevarer til aften, og det er til en meget rimelig pris. Hotellet selv er lige så billigt. Den eneste manko: desværre meget lyst og den nærliggende kirke ryster alle fire timer og søndag klokken 6 om morgenen fuldt lyd. "

"Inhumane behavior and failure to provide assistance at the Hotel Bergblick Dear Sir or Madam, I experienced the most inhumane thing imaginable today. My ten-year-old son had surgery at the hospital today. After the doctors discharged us, but advised us to stay nearby on the professor's advice, we booked the Hotel Bergblick. Around noon, I called the hotel, explained the situation to the lady at reception, and asked if they had ice cream, as the doctors recommended my son eat it. When we arrived, my son's circulation was so poor that the lady at reception immediately laid him down and gave him water. But then she informed us that children under 14 were not allowed in the hotel. I begged for permission to stay, as we are from Austria and my son is in such poor health. We would stay in the room and leave immediately the next morning. But the hotel manager categorically refused and demanded 250 euros from us. I have never experienced anything so inhumane. This was clearly a failure to provide assistance. What's particularly outrageous is that the booking confirmation doesn't mention this ban on children, nor is there any clear information on the website. This is not legally permissible, and I have already passed everything on to my lawyers. I am deeply disappointed and shocked by this behavior and would like to warn other travelers so that the same thing doesn't happen to them."

"The hotel is very nice and the breakfast is great. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly. There was one downside, however. That was the roast pork in the restaurant that evening. It was gristly and much too hard. I was still struggling with that the following night. My husband had the "Miesbacher Geschichten". That was good."
