"This place hasn't had maintenance at all. The bathroom is disappointing; door doesn't close well, walls are dirty and have holes, the bathtub was dirty and stained, the curtain, that apparently used to be white, is now yellow and had a big hole and the toilet seat kept sliding. Old , yellowish and stinky towels. Gave us short supplies, had to ask for more. In conclusion, I don't recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else"

"This is a time share/hotel type. They don't serve food, but the grocery is just a few minutes away. It will be a nice room for a family of four. Clean and close to our destination."

"This was our first time at The Devonfield Inn (recommended by a friend) and it was more wonderful that we could have ever imagined. Doug & Jim are the nicest people and make you feel welcome (along with Cece) from the moment you enter the inn. The breakfasts are 5 Star (Jim you are an amazing chef) and Doug is the perfect host along with his personal recommendations and favorite places for the surrounding areas (you are spot on). We had an amazing couples massage (highly recommended to do during your stay). The inn has that cozy, quaint feel along with a welcoming social happy hour and music. We can’t enough how much we enjoyed our stay and wait to return. And those mint chocolate chip cookies are the best. Next time for a Summer Visit!! Yvette & Perry "

"The hotel is quite old, the room facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness is average. The breakfast is also average, but it's considered relatively good for this small town, especially since we came during peak season and all the rooms were full. After checking in, we found that one bed's bedding wasn't made. The receptionist came several times to get the bedding, and then we had to make the bed ourselves. There's nothing we could do since there's no housekeeping staff on duty at night."

"Fire gange har vi boet på Chambery Inn og hver gang bliver besøget bedre.Værelserne er kønne, meget store og meget, meget komfortabel. Kærlighed til de unikke blackboards i vores værelse, efterladt fra, da hytten var et skolehus, og vi tilføjede vores kommentarer til de dusinvis, der allerede var der.Også elskede gas fyrværkeri i vores værelse, der gjorde det pænt og hyggeligt. Morgenmaden blev leveret i tide, i en picknickkurv og var lækker. Vi bestilte også et charcuterieboard, der kom fra en lokal gård, (High Lawn, som jeg anbefaler at besøge under dit ophold), som tilbød et fremragende udvalg af kød, ost og krakker. Værter Bob og Olia er vidunderlige, og vi ser allerede på vores femte besøg."

"An absolute gem of a find! This was such a beautiful place in a relaxing setting! So convenient for visiting the surrounding areas. Parking right outside property. Terrace that overlooks the pond. Kitchen so full of everything you would need - even left dishwasher tablets and given coffee bags on arrival. Bathroom large and lovely shower - towels soft and lots of them. Bed super comfy and sheets so soft. Washing machine a real ++ Spotlessly clean Friendly reception staff. Could see that a little bit of maintenance required but this didn’t detract from such a wonderful stay! Will definately be back!! Lovely library area. Nice pools with sauna"
