"I do not like to post negatively but it was all the positive reviews that helped me decide to book this Masseria and they were very misleading. The staff could not be nicer but the place is in need of a total facelift if it is to retain a 4 star rating. The floors in our room and through the property are badly scuffed and cracked. In our room the ceiling needed repair and the mattress was a thin hard slab. On the other hand the upholstery inside and outside our room was so worn you sink in. I have visited Morocco several times and the decor is one of my favorites styles but here the decor is just dark and drab now- not the vivid spice colors of Marrakech. We had dinner one night and sadly it was just average at best. To be honest we had booked a stay of 4 nights but left after the first night as we were very disappointed. This could be a wonderful property with a total update."

"The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. All very clean and comfortable, especially careful in details. Super friendly staff friendly and available. Fantastic breakfast with the best pizza ever eaten. We will surely come back."

"Good location within walking distance to Centro Storico. Great restaurants, bars, cafe’s all around the accomodation. The only let down was parking - it is not included, you either have to be lucky enough to find on the street or pay. Not a big deal but good to know. Breakfast is simple but plentiful, gracious staff."

"Then pool was okay but the birds kept on flying in and drinking from it so I got out of there to avoid avian flu which would have destroyed my vacation. They need to really keep the birds out of the pool. They also don’t have a clothing steamer or irons so you might need to wear your wrinkly clothes or pay them and they return it back ironed the next day. The toilets had low water pressure so sometimes to took like 3-5 flushes to get rid of all the toilet paper and poop. The location is about 1 km from the city centre and a bit further from the Leece station. The breakfast was comprehensive and had the standard things like hams, cheeses, pancake machine and ice creams and gelato for 15eu . This is probably a good value since a pasta is about 10-13 eu nearby anndni nthe city centre including the taxes. I don’t know if I’d stay here again."

"The best place in Lecce. Amazing rooms, even better location, lovely breakfast, and wonderful staff. Great value. Fantastically situated in the historical centre of Lecce, a short walk from all the sites -and only a few meters from the Roman Amphitheatre, nice bars and restaurants nearby, and plenty more a short walk away. The building itself is charming, and the rooms generous and comfortable. We've been several times, as have all friends and family, and will certainly be coming back! Highly recommended."

"Dilapidated building... dirty room, everything old and run-down. Dirty walls, cobwebs on the ceiling, dirty chandelier, picture with very dirty glass. Disgraceful bathroom: leaking sink faucet, leaky shower hose, everything worn and run-down. Towel warmer full of rust! Poorly cleaned. The only suggestion I can give is: IT SHOULD BE CLOSED!"
