"Vi boede for nylig på Royal Lahaina Resort og havde generelt en anstændig oplevelse, men der er bestemt nogle få ting, som fremtidige gæster bør vide at gå ind. De største positive var beliggenheden og udsigterne.Resorten er lige ved stranden, og at kunne gå direkte til Ka’anapali Beach var fantastisk. Poolen og gym var også meget pæn og velholdt. Vi bookede et delvist havudsigtsværelse, og ærligt talt var udsigterne smukke.Vi kunne se havet, golfbanen, bjergene, en af pools, og selv de natlige præstationer fra vores værelse. Det sagde, at værelserne selv følte sig lidt dateret.Dekorationen har en meget gammel hawaiiansk stil med en masse mørkt træ, som kan appellere til nogle mennesker, men det gjorde rummet føler sig ældre end forventet. Husholdning ændrede også bladene meget ofte under vores ophold. En ting, der er værd at nævne, er balkonkonfigurationen.Balkonerne er ret små og tæt sammen, så privatlivet er begrænset.Du kan nemt høre nabogæster tale, hvis de er udenfor på samme tid. The front desk/check-in experience was okay, but not the warmest or most welcome compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. Generelt mener jeg stadig, at Royal Lahaina tilbyder fast værdi for beliggenheden og strandadgangen, især i forhold til nogle af de dyrere resorts i nærheden. "Hotels on Maui are generally more expensive than those in Honolulu. The surrounding area is a hotel district, the beaches are relatively clean and not crowded. The two-bedroom apartment is spacious, with a kitchen and basic cooking utensils and tableware. It also has a washer and dryer."

"We stayed at the Maui Ocean Club for one week in the Lahaina building. The room was very nice, beds were comfortable, kitchen was big and we had a washer and dryer in the room. There are dinner specials at the Beachwalk on site. We had the prime rib dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and corn for $39. The portions were large so we had enough for lunch the next day. We also tried to order the BBQ dinner special on a different night but they ran out, so the staff suggested we try the Korean fried chicken special, we are glad we did, it was delicious. We had no problem getting chairs by the pool at 8:30am, probably because this was September; but did observe people saving more chairs than needed, other people could have used the extra lounge and chair. The resort has activities on site. Download the MVC app and you can look up the calendar ahead of your arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was one negative experience. My mother rents an electric scooter each time she visits Hawaii. The company drops it off and she has it upon arrival. This time the resort refused to accept it stating that the renter must be present to receive. She lost a day with the scooter and we had to cut our next day short to be on site to receive the scooter. We understand they instituted this new policy a week before we arrived, just wish we would have known."

"We have been spoiled! Our 3 bedroom unit was spacious and had everything we needed. Paula the manager goes out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. We really liked the location. I felt like we had our own beach. Being able to walk to restaurants was wonderful too. I highly recommend the Lahaina Grill (get your reservations months in advance) In the past we have stayed in Kaanapali and Wailea. I like Puunoa on Baby Beach the best because you're not fighting crowds and it's just so relaxing. We will never stay at a big resort after being spoiled at Puunoa!"
