"The hotel is located in a small town, which fits the feeling of a village (not a derogatory word). You must drive here (there is no public transportation). The hotel is very quiet and feels very safe. The room is very large and fully equipped with a washing machine, a full set of kitchenware, a refrigerator, a sofa, a dining table, and a large balcony with a dining table where you can sit outdoors and watch the sunset and drink and eat, which is very comfortable. The hotel service staff is warm and polite. We arrived at about 12:30 noon. According to the previous hotel feedback, its policy is to check in at 4 pm, but the uncle at the front desk called and asked, saying that the room has been cleaned up and can be checked in for us. It is really good, otherwise we can only put down our luggage and go out. The hotel is not far from several attractions. It takes about ten minutes to drive there. The hotel is also about 10 minutes to drive to several large supermarkets in the town. Staying here is really the best choice for vacation. The key is high cost performance."

"The Welwitshia Guest House is absolutely beautiful. I booked a family room for myself and three sisters and we were delighted when we walked in the door. It was like a small apartment! There was plenty of room for four of us with lots of storage and a large bathroom. We were on the ground floor and had a lovely terrace leading on to pretty grounds and on to the pool. The breakfast room was large and airy, overlooking the pool and grounds. We were surprised to learn that the Welwitshia has been open for ten years as it is immaculate. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be returning"

"Vi har været der siden 6/7 omkring år, Vi har vedtaget dette smukke lille hotel fra de første dage, L’emplacement est très bon, loin des immeubles et autres.. parking extérieur etc.. Smuk swimmingpool, palmer og planter, man kan få morgenmad udenfor, hvis man vil, det er roligt, alt personalet er behageligt, les trois dames de l'accueil entre autres ( je garde les prénoms pour nous) 🙂 à notre écoute en fonction de nos besoins.. Fransk/Engelsk / Italiensk ... Værelserne er rummelige, rene med klima og en lille balkon ( vores gave på poolen) Ingenting at gøre med de store hotelkæder, det er familie, en stor stue med sofaer en tv-screen, en lille bar.. af enkelhed uden "chichis" Tak til alle!!! Og især en stor tak til Alessandro "le chef d’orchestre" des lieux, pour sa gentileté et ses attentions ! 😀😀 D et MF"

"Great stay, nice staff! Walkable to gorgeous beaches and the town of Portimaõ. Comfy beds, clean apartments. Could do with a bit more shelving in the bathroom (even a small chair under the sink would do) and some hooks here and there, but otherwise perfect."

"Hotellet er lidt gammelt, men er meget behageligt, rummelige værelser, smuk swimmingpool og bartender smilende og meget service, stedet er fantastisk. Det er en skam, at morgenmad er dårlig, alt syntes at blive købt til den laveste pris, fra kaffebønner, der passerer gennem honning og den voksende ikke kogt inde, hvad angår frugtsalat det var næsten lavet af æbler i måneden Jun."

"Advantages: 1. Good location, 10 minutes walk from the town center 2. Free parking Disadvantages: 1. The housekeeping staff was rude. We called the hotel immediately. The hotel said that they would reply to us after verification. I waited for 3 days and did not receive a call from the hotel. Here I would like to thank Ctrip customer service. They made more than a dozen calls a day to urge me to implement it, and finally waited for the hotel to confirm the reply. If it were not for Ctrip, I would not want to give 4 points."
