"From the moment we arrived, Macie was so helpful. We are a family of 5 adults. Oldest 72, youngest 18. The Queen Suite has 2 queen beds and 1 queen sofa bed. I have to say the queen sofa was the most comfortable sofa bed I've been on. The other beds were very comfortable. Now back to Macie. We were issued room 317 which had a/c issues and a television disability. She immediately swapped for room 217 which was wonderful. And she supplied me with the sofa bed pack which had both sheets, pillows, and the cover for my grandson. Only disappointment was NO POOL, but it did have a workout room as pictured on this website, and most of the breakfast items shown were also available and delicious. We did not leave hungry."

"I like the place, really do. BUT it has one glaring deficiency. The parking lot and the bar next door. The parking lot is tiny and the bar next door? Its drunks suck up the hotel resident parking. They even park in all the hotel handicapped parking spaces for their evening of drinking. I have a dent in my new trucks rear bumper and a ding in my driver door from this nonsense. If the parking lot wasn't such a mess this would be a 5 star review."

"This Holiday Inn has been recently rebuilt from the last hurricane (Ida), it looks nice BUT, as soon as you go to your room and microwave one of the small meals they sell up front? ANTS. Luckily not fire ants, but the little raspberry crazy ants. I don't mean one or two either. I took a short video clip of them (20 or 30 of the pests) and showed the clerk up front. I was assured they would spray for these things after I'd leave in the morning for work. To sum it up? I came back after a 12 hour day, didn't smell any pesticides, sat down to eat another microwave enchilada meal, and was again swarmed with MORE ants. I went to the desk and asked if the room had been treated for the pests and was told "they went to look and didn't see any so..." Great. I ended up checking out a day early. When the bugs get to where they run across your face in the middle of the night and wake you up? Yup, that happened. Time to go. I also ran into a bit of passive-aggressive hostility when I checked out early (due to the bugs). I won't go around and actively tell one and all about the bug stampedes or poor service I was rendered BUT if I am asked? I will recommend a motel in Golden Meadow."

"I am editing my previous review. This hotel has an issue. If you stay there contracted to a client be sure they understand the client covers ALL charges to the room on your per diem as the client covers all charges with their card as per contractual agreement. They will insist you provide your own card anyway, and if you arrive late at night? They have you over a barrel. That is how they forced me to provide my banking information. They recently charged my personal business account for a charge that had routinely been covered by my per diem expenses and refused to refund the money. Sort of "swept it under the rug" and hoped it would go away so to speak. I call that a lack of professional integrity. Not to mention the hotel shares parking with a nearby bar, my new truck has been dented twice by drunks coming out of the bar and pulling out in the vehicles. I waited almost two months to see if they would fix the per diem issue but nothing, as I said, "swept under the rug, hoped it would go away". No more. I will be seeking lodgings elsewhere."
