"Beliggenheden er bare et stykke paradis.Dette lille hotel har de smukkeste solskin 🌅 og ser ud over en fiskeby. Atmosfæren fra det øjeblik, du går ind, er varm, afslappet og personalet byder os velkommen med varme ansigtsflanter, der var meget velkommen.Vi havde bedt om et opgraderet poolværelse, og det var rulle 15, der var perfekt.Stor balkon ser lige på poolen. Stillet ved begge pools er tropisk og visuelt følelsesladet.Jordpersonalet arbejder meget hårdt for at opretholde den smukke.Dette hotel er bogstaveligt talt 8 minutters gang væk fra den mest fantastiske sallam-grotte.Schildkræfterne er helt utrolige. At kunne vågne op om morgenen og stå op og betale 15 dollars i 30-minutter eller 30-dollar for en hr var meget speciel og besværlig for en sådan vidunderlig livserfaring. Stærkt anbefaler bookingture med hotelpersonalet som vi gjorde, og de var helt fantastisk.Meget overkommelig, pålidelig og fleksibel til din rejse ved at lytte og foreslå lokale råd og det hele tilføjet til en magisk dag. Jeg anbefaler dette hotel meget.Jeg kom hjem i dag og er allerede i samtaler med min familie og venner for at vende tilbage til dette vidunderlige hotel."

"We just returned from our trip to Zanzibar, where we spend 10 days in this hotel. It is absolutely fantastic. Rooms are big and clean, pools are so big and perfect for small kids, but also for adults. Everybody is so friendly and polite in there, we felt more than 'home' there. During our stay, we could remark the very special relation between the owner of this place and the employees. We could not believe how nice he was treating them. We felt like there is actually a big family in there. Special thanks to Ahmed, which made our kids so happy during our stay. He is the best entertainer! Many thanks to Lazarov and all the masai group in there for always smiling and giving us such a good vibe. Many thanks to the women who cleaned our rooms and those who served our meals, which, by the way, are DELICIOUS. We really hope to see you all again one day!"

"The best of the best you can find on this island. Location - amazing (a huge white sand beach, a wonderfully curated garden); accomodation - superb (pristine clean, comfortable, spacious rooms); food - unbelievable (quality of ingredients, the way dishes are prepared and delivered, all is top); personnel - wonderful (Hamida we miss you, but also Janeth and all other waiters, Haji the driver, and every smiling people working there). Madame Valerie is a fantastic manager - she clearly knows how to run such a jewel perfectly well. A final mention for Monica - I hope she will endure at White Sand and be there when we’ll be back next time! This is a nest, a shelter from all is noisy, vulgar and grey - the colors of the sea, the tides, the animals (red monkeys waking us up in the morning!). Go to White Sand if you wish to set yourself apart from the World and forget about everything for a while."

"Ok the hotel is well located but what hell with this music in the open air. Because of the parties that take place several times a week, it's hell for the entire population living 1km around the hotel. Impossible to sleep before 3am. It's really a scandal, I don't understand why the local population isn't taking action. It will kill tourism in this area of Jambiani and it's a real shame"

Our Butler Ramson was provided with our Jungle Villa was excellent and his service was impeccable. Th hotel is approximately 1.5 hours from Stone Town. Overall we enjoyed the hotel amenities and food."

Breezes Beach Club and Spa
"We absolutely loved this hotel. It is small enough to feel that you are the only people there, but large enough to have great facilities. The gardens and communal areas were beautiful. The staff were all so kind and helpful. Its location on the east coast means that there is a constant breeze, and therefore cool and refreshing. The tide goes out about a kilometre, and at that time you are not able to swim in the sea. But there is a huge pool to cool off in. The waiter service at your sunbed and guided walks at low tide to explore the coral pools are great. Take water shoes to go on the tour, as there are sea urchins everywhere. The food choices and quality were superb, and the lunch menus and drinks, which were not included in our package, were reasonably priced considering the beautiful location. There was local entertainment nightly for an hour or so during dinner. We had a garden bungalow which was big and had a nice veranda to sit on. There are more expensive rooms closer to the sea, but our location was quiet and away from the noise of the restaurant and pool area, which for us was more desirable. The hotel arranged some excursions for us and we used the very nice spa. This is a very reasonably priced hotel for the quality and amenities, and we would happily return. There is nothing to do locally except dive, swim or walk along the beautiful white sand. Shops or tourist attractions are a taxi ride away. But after a week's safari, all we wanted was a few days' rest, and this was definitely the place to do that. Asante Sane x"

"We stayed in 3 hotels whilst on our honeymoon in Zanzibar and loved the Lujo hotel. The staff were really lovely, especially the lady on reception who was really welcoming and helpful! She gave us lots of recommendations for shops and beach bars to visit. Paje beach is only a short walk from the hotel and there are lots of places to eat and drink along the beach. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the pool as we had trips booked during the day and went to the beach most days. We ate dinner at the hotel every night and the food was amazing - the food portions were really big. There is currently some building work going on next door but this didn’t effect us as we were out and about during the day but if you were planning to spend your day at the pool this may have been a bit noisy!"

"This is my second stay in Paje by Night, and I couldn’t be more satisfied! The setting is beautiful, with a fantastic garden full of greenery. The atmosphere is so relaxing….! The beach is only a couple of minutes away, but there is also a very nice pool to relax by…! The food served is of very good quality, but above all very tasty! Most importantly, all the staff is beyond fantastic! From the cleaners, the waiters to the reception staff and the owners, everyone has been an absolute star to make sure our stay was great! "The setting of the lodge is beautiful and we loved seeing monkeys, bats, and other wildlife around the property. The availability of equipment for kayaking and snorkeling was also appreciated. We had an issue with the AC at the beginning of our stay. Although we were moved to another room, the initial insistence that it was working — and the suggestion that we might have caused the problem by touching the controls — was unpleasant. Unfortunately, the most negative part happened just before our departure. After drinking juices provided by the lodge shortly before our flight we became ill during the overnight flight home, with repeated vomiting. This was distressing and concerning for us, especially since it included our child."
