"I stayed in Room 5 which even didn’t have lock & key. My stay was 22nd to 23 May 2026. Even booked 1, 3 and 4 room also. Detail of overall experience is as below: My family, friends, and I stayed at this property for one night, and the experience was extremely disappointing due to poor room conditions and unprofessional staff behaviour. From the very beginning, the hotel failed to provide even basic safety amenities such as proper door lock and key arrangements. When we raised the issue, the staff neither tried to resolve it nor showed any concern, instead responding rudely and dismissively. Later at night, when we returned to the property, the rooms did not even have proper electricity or lighting. Upon approaching the management again, the manager and his associates behaved in an intimidating and highly unprofessional manner. Despite us speaking politely, they cornered us, spoke rudely, and told us to “enjoy the place” instead of raising complaints. We were even told that if we continued asking for basic facilities like electricity, we should “go back from where we came from.” When we requested an apology for such behaviour, the manager openly refused and asked us to “adjust” for the night without lights and without proper lock-key safety arrangements. To make matters worse, the geyser/hot water facility was cut off the next morning without any prior information. This is not how paying guests should be treated. The property lacked multiple basic amenities including proper locks, electricity, lighting, and hot water. Additionally, the place operating under the name “Moksha Woodhouse” appeared highly questionable, and it even seemed to be using the identity/name of “Moksha Riverside,” which raises serious concerns regarding authenticity and registration. I strongly advise travellers to be cautious before booking this property."
