"My husband and I had a perfect stay at the Trackers Safari Lodge. Fred and his expert team greeted us warmly upon arrival and made us feel instantly at home. Our gorgeous room overlooking the impenetrable forest was remarkable. The 1 in a million chef prepared meals that were all five stars - including the beautifully packed lunch with bottled water provided to us for our gorilla track. We will keep this experience very close to our hearts forever. Simply unforgettable! Thank you Fred and team. Take care! We hope to return someday soon!!"

"Absolutely wonderful place made better by the absolutely wonderful people who own it and run it. The food was far beyond expectations and the quaint cottages were lovely. Do yourself a favor and stay more than one night. I think the more intrepid travelers will prefer Buhoma Gorilla Camp more than the extremely expensive, luxury camps just a few kilometers away. Here you will get a personal treatment and become part of the small community. Richard the owner and Joshua, the head of the restaurant, are the best."

"Lovely lodge with amazing views. All the staff was very attentive and friendly. It was very easy to arrange the gorilla permits as the lodge did this for us. The room had a lovely balcony and comfortable bed. Even though it is a bit from the next paved road, we had no issues getting there and our driver was also happy with his stay, particularly the food. We had a great time and would recommend this to everyone."

"The most wonderful stay! We felt right at home at Trackers - albeit a luxurious home with fantastic showers, included laundry service and truly delicious food. The staff is wonderful - with Fred, Labour and Herbert always available to organise new adventures and activities for you. If you are lucky enough to come here to Bwindi to experience gorilla tracking which is a magical experience, then look no further for your stay. As far as gorilla tracking in the impenetrable forest, the park is well managed and one feels very safe with the rangers. My partner and I, with some of our friends opted for the “hard trek” which I recommend or in any case I would at least go for a medium trek depending on your fitness level. It’s so worth the effort to get a sense of the beauty that surrounds you. The lunches provided by the hotel chef are also 10/10, like everything they do :)) Thank you to Fred and the team for this superb stay! William and will be back soon to check on our tree Michel Napoleon Machemia!"
